Seriously, if this guy is so nice, and he may very well be, and everything he's ever said is "taken out of context" or whatever, it doesn't change the fact that he still garners the rage of many, many gamers out there. Taken out of context or not, a good CEO shouldn't be making this much noise.
I don't know what he's like in person, so I cannot comment on that. But I've seen a bunch of people go "Oh, man, dude, he's like, a totally cool guy!" and try to brush off the rage by saying "It's taken out of context, man!"

Here's the thing, this is a company, no one gives a damn if you are a nice guy personally, we care about the public image displayed, as that's what we deal with as a mass.
Firstly, any respect I had for Blizzard has taken quite a blow with this comment. Secondly, no one gives a shit what his private life is like, we're pissed about how he runs business. Thirdly, Blizzard is fucking part of Activision, what do you think they're going to do? Condemn them? Of course not.
