And 2, the funnier part, I didn't report him. I have better things to do in my life than report people who say "fuck off" to me as I am not in any way shape or form insulted by people on the internets, nor am I insulted or offended by the word "fuck". I use it in daily conversation and consider myself a verbally vulgar person. However I did reply to his statement for me to "fuck off" as I feel that has more weight than simply reporting someone.

If pointing out your glaring errors is an insult, perhaps you should take out your frustrations on the mirror since the problem therein lies with you. I'm sorry you feel that way but perhaps a little bit of reading comprehension is in order for you, rather than a knee-jerk response to a post that criticizes your ability to understand how forums/threads are ordered. Like I said before, and I'll even be nicer this time... quit while you're ahead, although it may be too late for that.
If you take "get a life" as more a reportable insult than "fuck off", perhaps you need to re-evaluate your definition of the word "insult". Apparently someone thought the same as I do, because the "fuck off" post was reported, not mine, and even though you did report my posting, whatever mod inspected that report seems to have deemed it unworthy of a ban/suspension/probation. I directed my words in my original post to people who use the idea that freedom of speech is there to protect their right to do whatever they want in another person's space, which is not what freedom of speech was designed for. Perhaps yes my words weren't as nice as I've tried to be in dealing with you, and trust me if I had felt the need to I could have been a mean son of a *****, but I wasn't.
Even now I could put things in this post that would probably push you to your limits of tolerance, but simply put that is not my way of doing things. So my advice to you in the future, read thoroughly and attempt at least to reason a post that catches your eye rather than trying to play forum police, a job at which you obviously fail.

It's not about the genital shape level but the ability for other developer to explore the subject they want, without restriction. If we censor Starcraft 2, why couldn't they censor future titles? I'm sure it's sexual images, remember all the pornographic women made with power cores in Halo 3's forge mode? If the game has a big enough fan base, and a map builder, some sick fuck will try to arrange things into something inappropriate.

Funny thing, I didn't heard about Halo 3's forge mode but i heard some porn site are reverse-engineering some video game to turn them into porn game. It may come from a shady source but there's strip poker game on the Comodore 64... I'll let the rest to your imagination.

It was a general post to all the people bitching about not being able to put pornographic content on Blizzard's servers, which they have the right to moderate as they see fit. I know you're agreeing with me in the overall sense, and perhaps you didn't like the way I said it, but I get tired of hearing the free speech argument for things that it doesn't apply to.

After reading 5 pages of 'Penis and porn maps deserve to be removed' It sucks how few people are grasping the full scope here...

By all means, whatever, delete maps with any R rated visual depictions. Nothing of value was lost. But lets have a look at some of their other qualifications....triggers...words...coincidental imagery. That just...wow. I've modded maps, you put stuff in triggers that isnt always smart, but if you're making an extensive map, you want to know how to tell those triggers apart, and creative naming really really helps. A map should never been banned or deleted because of the naming of a trigger that no one ever sees.

So, no word 'God' huh? So, what if I want to tell a story about this awesome Viking I created, and his quest from the GODS? Nope? Well shit, there goes an entire section of awesome mythology maps, just so current religion doesnt get its knickers in a knot. Not to mention things that could have the word god in them...'Godmode' 'Godlike' 'Godly' I could go on all day about harmless words that are often used descriptively to convey power, without any real theological significance. Oh, and check out this awesome battlecruiser I modded, its called the Godhammer....oh wait, no its not. Not anymore.

Although it sounds good on paper, blizzard has been far too strict on map filtering so far. Absolutely no taboo words permitted at all; a popular tank defence map was taken down for having a 'badass' round. Hell, one of my uploads was rejected for having the word 'starcraft' in the description. I shit you not!

EDIT: News just in about the aforementioned tank defence: It wasn't banned because of 'badass', but because when the units filed in through the map, they happened to form a brief swastika...

It's the "If the hat fit" defense where you just "attack" Penis shaped level editors and it wasn't meant for him. But he defended them for a valid reason and since it's aim at all who disagree with you, it's apply also to him. And you did attack them even if you convince yourself otherwise. Let me highlight it for you. You admit it in a way. There's also this:

Let me explain how i see it. It a F'in way back to my psychology class and i'll translate it as i go along. Your psyche is separate into 3 entities.
Ego: Your conscious self. It's the rational decision maker and the dominant part that keep the others in check
Superego: Your raw emotions all bottle up in this part. You'll generally let it loose when you are overflowing with them.
It: Your primal you. Everything you want and need come from here.

So, the way I see it. You got piss (which it isn't hard to see, i could feel your rage over every posts) and responded with your Superego. When that was done, you felt guilt and in part here and there when i call you on it your ego tried to limit the problem and is piercing here and there in your post.

Inappropriate is something that shouldn't be seen by people of a certain age group.

I think this should be view in a case by case scenario. People complain about the trigger word when it's easy to string them together for a dialog straight out of a porn flick.
