This sounds epic! I just have one question. Did anyone else get an Email asking them to join the Alpha testing for Cataclysm? I got one today but I don't even know how Blizzard got my MSN Email account.

It dosen't see to be asking for anything that could link them to my account just normal procedures they make when you create a profile (The keys needed and then it asks you to go through the whole mangeled letter thing.) I'm not gonna enter anything though and will proably call blizzard tommorrow to comfirm this though. If it was a fake then no skin off my nose.

I am so totally stoked now. I've always wanted to roll a Hunter, but none of the Horde races interested me in that vein... now a Goblin... give him Engineering (just for kicks and Parachutes)...CantFaketheFunk said:

Atleast the Escapist still has some sense, most of the WoW forums just keep recycling the "WAAAAAAAGHHH WE DUN WANT TAUREN PALADINS AND CHANGE WAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH." argument. I agree with the previous comments, Cataclysm looks like it will bring some new flavour to the old zones, aswell as the game itself. Just hope the game is as good as the trailer makes it look.

I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I've heard that one of the Goblin racials is a Ogre pet (thats the thing you can see standing behind them)Cheesebob said:

Goblins: WTF? Did you ever play Warcraft 2? Goblins were Horde for ages. Their Neutrality in WoW was the change. Also, different cartels, man. The Horde Goblins are the Bilgewater Cartel, while the other Cartels (notably Steamwheedle of Gadgetzan/Booty Bay/Ratchet/Everlook) are still profoundly neutral, much like the Darkspear tribe of Trolls joined the Horde while the others are all dark, evil and voodoo-y. Except the Zandalar.
I think you need to take another look at the lore, my friend
3.2.2 Onyxia is just a nostalgia thing, not actually new content. It's not like they're passing her off as the replacement for Icecrown in 3.3.
As far as new continent, I think giving seven new zones (roughly equal to Northrend) in the old world, and redoing all the Vanilla content that's legitimately painful to play through after getting used to the quality of BC and WotLK leveling is more than enough of that.
