Blow s*** up or sneaking

What do you prefer to do in a game? Make a lot of noise or sneak around unseen?
I like the sneaking best in some games like Batman. Because it is fun see your enemies become more and more scared as they keep disappering one by one.

It depends.
In Batman, I'm okay with the sneaking, because you're playing as a badass.
But in general, I prefer blowing shit up left, right, and behind.
It's just more fun.

Simply sneak up behind the thick idiots and stab then.

Yeah, I'm all about blowing s*** up! Sneaking around can be fun, but usually after a couple of minutes I pull out something that makes alotta noise with a big clip or something that makes a fine pink mist of all my enemies.

Generally when I start I'll take the slightly more anarchic approach of just blowing everything up for a while.

However, I lose interest in that after a while, and instead I start to use the stealth method. It just seems so much more satisfying then explosions once you know what you are doing.

I tend to try to balance it in Red Faction: Guerrilla, I'll blow shit up if I am at an advantage but will sneak if I either cannot exit the situation easily or lack firepower.

Even when given the option I still prefer the shoot everything except allies style. Sometimes your allies are so dumb though, they need a bullet in the brain as it couldn't make them any dumber (half Life comes to mind).

Plant 2 or 3 explosive charges, hide, make one of them go BOOM, then two or three guys will go see what's going on, they'll activate the remaining charges... Fly down and finish them off.

Yup. It's called a diversion.
Enemies are usually too distracted from being blown to bits or set on fire to notice me sneaking past them.

I had to think about it for a sec saying that i only sneak in something like fallout3 but then i thought about cod5 online, i step behind a wall crouch knife and mp5 anybody who comes through there(even if i do run and gun a decent amount). Stealth is more my thing i guess, it just takes so long.
