Well, the programme has ended, and I have this to say:

When the BNP and Griffin in particular first grabbed my attention, I saw him as a snake in the grass: Concealed, poisonous, vile and deadly

Now, after this abboration of an interview, I can safely say that Mr. Griffin is no more than a worm: Blind to the world around him, slimy, insignificant, weak and spineless

My faith in every other politician on that board, and the parties they represent, has been fully restored.

Oh, and that American woman, Bonnie? She got sass

As much of freedom of speech is important it is not absolute in UK law. Incitement to racial hatred is in place to protect the vunerable from being coerced into law breaking. The BNP encourages racial hatred though misinformation. Its a grey area but I can understand why some feel they shouldn't be allowed to address the public, especially considering how much authority they have as a political party.

Currently not even the US has absolute freedom of speech. The patriot act allows for a simular 'incitment of terrorim' (probably not the official wording) to moderate free speech.

Having said all that it's pretty funny watching his reasoning getting taken to peices by some people who dont buy into the propaganda.

Just finished watching it. The bit where Nick Griffin was on about the Holocaust was great. He said he couldn't talk about it because it was against the law. Even though the Justice Secretary was RIGHT THERE saying it wasn't! I wish they didn't just keep on bashing the BNP and focus more on actual issues (they got better nearer the end). I hate the BNP, but I wanted to hear their take on issues that aren't to do with immigration.

Quote of the show: "Skin colour is irrelevant" Nick Griffin. LOL

This will surely be a headline on tommorrows newspaper...

It's the ultimate example of irony and fail when you are the leader of a political party which does not accept black or asian people and you go out on TV and state skin colour is irrelevant.

I noticed a lot of the time he didn't have chance to get his view across. The show generally was biased against Griffin but not many people share his views and many people are highly against them.
"Duke also reformed the organization, promoting nonviolence and legality" - Wikipedia. While he's not a good guy, I can see why Griffin said his KKK was nonviolent.

I don't like the BNP, i'd never vote for them, their views on homosexuality and the holocaust and their confused view on what defies the indiginous English makes them unlikeable.

I quote from another website forum:
"I enjoyed that lesbian telling him the disgust was mutual and him clapping and laughing like a Down's kid being given a balloon full of jelly babies."

It was good to see Griffin trry to explain his beliefs and actually have his policies scrutinized for a change. Only time will tell if it gains him any more voters in the long run.
