Bethesda are only producing it, so if you dislike their developing for some reason, it won't affect the game too much.

Wow looks awesome. Bethesda too? Good sign. Trailers can be misleading, though. It could really go either way. I can imagine an awesome bounty hunting game, but I could also see so many ways it could go wrong, like adding too much of a story and not enough freeroam. But, again Bethesda...

Dear god that was corny. But at least it looked good. If they can get gameplay to match that trailer (hint: they never do) then it might be worth a look.

Having trouble seeing the connection to Prey though. Not that that's a bad thing, Prey was kinda rubbish. But I don't see why they can't just give it a new name. Is there a rule against non-sequels or something?

Bethesda tho seems pretty interesting, I'd like to see some actual gameplay to see if it looks that good first tho. I do approve of Johnny Cash in the trailer.

I take it they've done away with the Native American motif from the original game in favour of a more straight up sci-fi approach? Pity. Still, neat premise.

I dunno I think they are continuing the motif because that looks like a Texas Ranger badge. He's no nonsense, guslingin' lawman out to clean up the frontier. I am getting an unfortunate hint of "He thought he was fighting for Justice but he was only Serving a corrupt Law, [Protagonist] now knows what he's got to do... For Freedom!"

But is that really that bad? Not every game needs a romance sub-plot, or do you want us to turn into another Holywood that shoehorns a romance into everything.

That was a seriously cool trailer.
Any trailer that features a guy using the momentum he gained from standing on a floating-truck-thing to jump into a guy he's chasing like that, definitely makes me want to look into buying what it's advertising.
