I have seen posts in the past about piercings, spacers and tattoos and etc. they were more directed at "what do you got and FLAUNT IT!!" or "WHAT CHA WANT DONE AND WHY??"

I myself am a lover of the piercings. I have personally:
-two 7mm (2g) spacers lobes
-two 3mm (8g) spacers lobes
-helix
-industrial
-two conch
-septum
-navel
-one nipple (but that one is coming out soon)
(it really seems like i have a lot of metal)

I have known people who despise them and love them.
What are your personal views on body modifications? pro or con and why?

It's not my body, so I don't care. Other people can do what they want, it's their bodies. I've never felt tempted to modify mine though, I'd only be tempted if it actually meant an increase in practical functionality in some way, as opposed to just aesthetics.

Forgive my ignorance but what's an "industrial" and a "helix"?

Honestly, I don't find them attractive at all.

I think it's because most of the younger people who do it nowadays are just doing it because they think it makes them cool, not because they like the look of it.

this is an indusrtial and a helix is also called a cartlidge piercing.

is that more helpful? I would not consider it ignorant.

I will never pierce my body. I find it really really stupid. And yes that is all I really think about them. You asked for our opinions and there is mine, don't judge me for it.

I once heard that you can get your tongue slit in half at the tip so it looks like a snake. To do things to your body going that far... wow. It's almost as stupid as the Spanish woman owning the sun. At least she is intelligent about it though trying to make money out of it.

I also find friends / family / females extremely unattractive when they cover there face in metal. Because I live in a poorer 'slumier' area the chance of meeting someone with piercings is significantly higher (no offence).

I have an odd interest in split tongues. I dunno if I want to do it, but I keep thinking about it. Its weird.

I'm right keen on Tattoos, piercings are okay as long as they are subtle (6 bottom lip and three eyebrows are not very good) and I'm not that into the harder stuff ilke Scarification or whatever.

I've got a tattoo of an electric bass with some stave lines and a bass cleff around the 5th fret and I want to get more. Probs some dragons or whatever.

Body modifications are for self expression and I am all for self expression.

I have a Rorschach Inkblot tattoo on my shoulder. Along with 4g spacers and I am getting a conch piercing.

I feel it should be done in moderation and there should be a purpose/meaning behind it. Otherwise, I don't judge anyone for it and I am attracted to those who have piercing/tattoos.

They are nice to an extent, I like spacers but not too big, then they get icky, I have no piercing but have a tattoo and am saving for a second.

I want piercings but only a couple, maybe tongue and something else. I don't want to go crazy with it.

Yes, that's useful, thanks.

I'd never get it done though.

Piercings and the like make me squeamish. By extension, people with piercings make me squeamish. It's not a matter of principle, or hatred, or anything like that. I just see a guy with a gigantic hole in his ear, and all I can't think is "Oh god, that's not supposed to stretch that way."

Having bits of metal/plastic rammed into my body just doesn't appeal to me personally. To each his own.

When I saw the title I thought, "Bionic Arm." So, yeah, that.

Sorry, unless you are talking about body augmentation cyberpunk style, I'm gonna have to decline and call you a tosser for sticking metal through your skin.
