There is potential in this, but the past might present considerable headaches.
1. Is the boy known to be one of the super-teenager-heroes? If so, he is a guaranteed super-celebrity with people both hating and liking him. But he can rarely if ever go unnoticed.
2. Why did these kids decide they had to get involved in the first place, instead of letting the trained and authorized members (aka Police) do the job they are getting paid for? A superbaddie will only present the question of where from did he/she come from. No superbaddie implies the super-teens either valuing personal morality and responsibility extremely high or they have some kind of social or stunted understanding of the reality of human societies(which they do not belong to entirely, being Super)
3. Why was this mission the others went to so important they had to go/ wanted to go? Why didn't the main character go along with them?
Also, these two personalities... Are they in conflict? Are they aware of the shared mind or do they just 'black out' when the other personality takes control?
Thanks for the criticism. This is really helpful stuff. To address your points:
1. The fact that they have these abilities is unknown. Super powered celebrities would never be able to get anything done.
2. When these kids started out and formed their group, they were all around 12-14 years old. Since they were only children, they have watched children's cartoons, and seen that all the superheroes fight crime. They thought it was their duty.
3. The mission doesn't have to be anything special; I assumed I would write it as just a normal walk in the park for them gone wrong.
As for the personalities, I planned for the main personality, (you know, the one controlling the body), he would be the quiet, stoical type, while the inner voice would be in complete contrast, I.E., upbeat and perky almost to the point of annoyance. And they are able to hold a dialog with each other.
Do you have any other suggestions, like what the title or main characters powers should be? (Im horrible with titles.)
