This just recently happened to me for english class. In the past we always had to read boring books that just didn't catch my attention. Recently however, we had to read the Graphic novel, Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi. It is about based on the authors experiance as a child during the Islamic revolution in Iran, and it is actually interesting to read. One reason I enjoyed it was becuase of the graphic novel format, where the pictures really went well with the words, mostly, I believe, because they were done by the same person. What are your thoughts, any book you didn't wind up hating to read for school?
