Okay so my favorite movie of all time is "The Boondock Saints" and I was very exited to hear that it was finally getting made and that the trailer would be shown Sat the 25th at Comic-Con. So I watch the tv special on g4 and see nothing, Look online and see nothing. Its now been 2 days since it was shown and there is no trailer anywhere on the net. How can that be? Why would they show it at CC and then not put it online? If you show one, You should show all. They have no reason to keep it a secret any longer. People have seen it so why isnt it online?!?! Its driving me crazy .... I have been waiting 10 years for this movie and I cant find the trailer anywhere!!!! If for some reason somebody does stumble across it please link it. Anyway, Um .... Am I the only one to care about this movie? I mean, To my knowledge the first one is the most profitable straight to DVD ever. I know it has a decent following so why does nobody seem to care? Where is the trailer!?!

Why would they make another one? The ending was good. This will most likely suck IMHO. The Boondock Saints was just too bad ass for a sequel.

The original Boondock Saints was a great movie.

However...just me personally but I think a sequel would ruin it.

I watched the original Boondock Saints and well...thought it was amusing but didn't see what all the fuss and hype was about in all honesty.

That is how it normally is with cult movies. Personally I liked the movie, had no idea what it was when I first saw it, so I had no idea what to expect. Which might just be why it struck me that it was as awesome as it was.

Is this about that show that comes on real late about 2 African American boys that are raised by their grandfather. One is an activist for African American rights, smart, and owns with martial arts. Whilst the other one is a gangster stereotype.

If so, I didn't know they had a movie o_O

....... I think I hate you......

no that is just "Boondocks", Boondock Saints is about two poor Irish brothers who decide they need to start killing Russian mobsters. Willam Dafoe (or however you spell his name) is in it as well, and has a fantastic performance.

Completely agree, this movie did not need a sequel. I will pass on it, unless jesus himself comes down and places it in my dvd player.
And he's wearing sunglasses and SWAT gear and he has a gun.

Boondock Saints was a great movie but a sequel would likely fail miserably. I mean, waiting 10 years to continue a story that wasn't really there? It was a movie about killing Russian gangsters in the silliest and most random way possible (death by toilet, anyone?), not a story-telling masterpiece.

I know the sequel will prolly not be as good as the original movie, but if what you say is true i'm still gonna go OMG-WTF-VIGILANTEE-PWNAGE-4TW! and i'm gonna watch it.

Boondock Saints is my favourite movie

It has nothing to do with each other, apart from the fact that the show you're tlakign about is awesome as well

It doesnt need a sequel but if people view it as a great movie directors and producers will release sequels as a shameless cash cow.

Unless it generally has more of the story to be told, This one however does not

Well he better be wearing something or im kicking his ass right out of my house, i wish he would cut his hair he looks like a girl... :)
I dunno. He was a carpenter. So he's probably pretty built. Or at least, if he's only going to be wearing the robe and sandals, he'd better be.

"Hey, Jesus, while you're here...mind fixing one of my chairs?"

This thing has been rumoured to be in the works for ages, and while I'm sure it will be great, Willem DaFoe said he wasn't going to do it. And I'm sorry but if he isn't in it, then WTFsadness.

How in god's name could you not have him in this one?

There was a FIREFIGHT!

The sequel isnt going to happen, it has been off and on for the past year. I would really like to see one though. I am mildly obsessed with the original, which is the best movie ever, it actually won an award for that. I know where everyone is coming from when they expect the sequel to suck (see: The Matrix), but have some faith! Plus, I just want to see the characters again, I can quote most of the movie, so some new stuff would be nice.

Yes, Its sad that WD will not be in it but they did get Julie Benz and I like her in Dexter so ... At least we have that. Dafoe should at least have a cameo though.

He has a lot of videos of them filming, Day 1-30 something plus post production ... This film is DONE and just waiting to be released. IT WILL HAPPEN!!! I just wanna see a trailer and if the movie sucks I will shit myself!!
