Depends on the girl. It looks really great on a girl with long, slender legs. On any other girl it's a 50/50 chance, either it still looks great or it looks really unflattering.

I suppose my thought would be if you can pull off a skirt at all, then it is pretty likely you can get away with boots/skirt as well. But seriously, some girls just simply should not show off their legs at all.
