Borderlands 2: Choose your Vault Hunter!

Okay, so with Borderlands 2 just over the horizon, I thought I'd ask which character class you guys are liking the look of and which you'll probably play as first.

Spoiler: Maya the Siren

Siren all the way, baby!

Love her look and her skill set is looking damn sexy too.

My fiancée, who I'll be playing splitscreen coop with, loved Brick in the last game and she squealed like a little girl when she saw the Gunzerker in action, so that's sorted

Least interested? Axton. He just looks like another run of the mill soldier, nothing about him shouts out to me, so I'll probably leave him well alone.


So, how about yoy guys? Hyped about the game?

Well, I played Lilith the most in the first one, so the Siren is probably most likely for me. The Assassin looks pretty awesome too though.

Maybe I'll actually finish this one eventually...

Imma go with Zer0 the Assassin. I mean, he looks like the baddest ma'fakka' in town, and he can also see the critical points on his enemies, which is one of my favorite powers in any medium.

Least interested? Axton. He just looks like blahblahblahblah Daystar already said it.

I'm actually not to hyped about the game, I mean, if it gets good reviews I might get it but I'm too busy with some PC exclusives to start worrying about another game that's coming soon. (worrying about Far Cry 3 right now)

I'm going for ether the assassin or the siren.
Then the mechromancer on a later play through.
I played the siren on my first Boderlands play and ran around allday with one massively OP pistol that only shot one bullet.
Funnest thing I had done for a while.

Anyway, I'll probably play as Salvador or Maya first, just because it looks like I'll enjoy their gameplay. I'll be playing a LOT of online co-op with a mate and I get the feeling he'll go for Zer0 or Axton. He actually doesn't mind playing as the soldier and enjoyed playing as Roland in the first, so it's all good.

And yes, I'm hyped. Pre-order the Deluxe Vault Hunter's Edition, which bags me all this.

I was a firm Mordecai player in the original so I'm thinking Zero will be the next logical progression, however I'm thinking Axton might appeal to the all-rounder in me.

It just looks better in every way. The variety in gun designs is staggering, enemy types are through the roof, customisation options are more intricate.

It's everything I could hope for from a Borderlands sequel.

I know, I'm watching IGN's Gunzerker and Siren preview vids on Youtube and it looks soooooooooo much fun.

Hoping it actually has an ending this time, instead of a giant vagina monster boss fight.
