So the whole game is spent fighting against Handsome Jack and the Hyperion Corporation. And yet Hyperion corporation is the company that makes and operates the New-U stations that respawn you...

So why doesn't Handsome Jack just stop the New-U stations from bringing you back. Even better, why doesn't Handsome Jack just use the New-U station to bring himself back?

Why do allied NPCs never respawn after they die in a story related quest in MMORPGs?

respawn mechanics in games always have this understood "it only applies to you" stipulation, even if it doesn't make sense.

I noticed this plot hole instantly, however maybe Handsome Jack is a self-destructive character and wants to be defeated or better yet it could lead to the next borderlands.

Perhaps Angel hacked them? They didn't say it, but I assume that's the only option.
