Borderlands vs. Fallout 3

I like most games. But it is okay you are entitled for your opinion. But liking a game does not make one an idiot. Liking it better then ANOTHER for no reason or DISLIKING it because you think its.... "gay" makes you an idiot. (not saying you)

Exactly, I've never been big on insulting people based on their tastes.

Now that I think of it most of the comparisons I made were my fault, a friend told me about it while I was playing Fallout so it went like...

Friend-"Borderlands is going to be awesome it's going to be a sandbox game where you get to wander around a wasteland..."

Me-"Like in Fallout?"

Friend-"...and there are these bandit groups that will attack you if you go into their territory."

Me-"Like in Fallout?"

Friend-"And you take these quests and missions from towns to make money and get weapons as you progress through the game."

Me-"Like...in Fallout?"

Friend-"There are also vehicles."

Me-"Oh well that seems cool."

Yeah, I never got it either. It makes more sense comparing Borderlands to Diablo. Fallout 3 is to Borderlands what The Road is to The Road Warrior.

Hmmm, I've never heard them be compared. I loved Borderlands and Fallout 3 but Borderlands has a special place in my heart. It was so much more fun, if you played with a mate.

Borderlands had the single worse ending of any modern game IMO. I was so fucking disappointed by it it killed the entire experience for me. I was pissed because I had already purchased the zombie DLC and after I beat the game I never touched it again. The ending was so bad that I felt cheated by the developers. It just felt lazy.

Fallout had its weird moment but i never felt cheated by the game.

The only redeeming factor for borderlands was the multiplayer aspect. The game was fun to play with a chum. It would have been miles better though if the quests were not the same repetitive garbage every time.

Its not all bad though the weapons feature in Borderlands was nice. I loved finding unique and bizarre weapons. But you can find unique weapons in Fallout as well.

I cannot express enough how much the ending of borderlands disappointed me though. I am not going to spoil it for anyone, but damn. Some of you must agree with me.

Fallout 3, if you forgive the bit at the end when the story throws up a lung, and if you find the retro music fun whilst you shoot a man's testicles off in slow motion with a missile launcher.

Not really. Mario is a mixture of dice rolling and shit. While Resident Evil is a survival horror. Even though Resident Evil has slowly started to reside lately. So no...not really like comparng those games.

Borderlands is an open world game that I've always found more fun with more people. It's for you with your friends.
