I love the endless guns being the gun nut I am. For Borderlands 2 I'd like to ditch the cartoon graphics. I never liked them in the first place.

THe level system was zonky as hell, you levelled too fast, and enemies like 1 or 2 levels above or below you either became tanks or died in a second,and gave experience accordingly, levelling was so awkward that it was impossible for me and my friend to stay together, so we just had to run eachother through grey quests to catch the lower one up.
So for borderlands two..just make enemies give a flat ammount of xp so everything will stop giving me 1 xp. And change the scaling so I cant one shot things one level below me

I think its great, alot of replay value, I love the art style although it couldve been done a bit better, the amount of guns is mind blowing, although I do think thay shouldve put more colourful landscapes in there, but I spose it adds to the atmos.
I'd like to see more variation of characters/enemies in 2, also a better story

Make the Beserker-ish class good on the second time around... I first character was Brick then once I hit around level 46 it took me next to forever to kill nearly anything...
Naturally being my first character I thought it was just supposed to be hard... So a re-rolled as a soldier and it was cake-walk throughout the entire game, tested this 2 more times as Siren and Hunter, Only Brick got screwed over.
Also make the last boss drop real loot, not this tiny drop of money and MAYBE a green quality gun/shield.. I WANT TO SEE MILLIONS AND EPICS OFF OF THE LAST BOSS!
Edit: I fully support the previous idea of "Mix n' matching" items to get different effects or at least a different look, would be even better if there was a deeper pool to randomly generate items from (I believe in Borderlands it's 5 or 6 parts for 4 or 5 sections of the gun, not counting color possibilities) so that there was more then hundreds of combinations for just the guns shape, then add color choices and a method of upgrading guns so these customized guns would last you a little longer (maybe, this isn't really needed, 0 cost on customization would do about the same thing for me).
Second edit (I could go on for MONTHS about changes that would be very nice or just plain needed): Shorter load times, bigger areas... Unless it's Pandora again having some vegetation would be sweet as well.

Gimme a better story (at least slightly, at least to make me think I'm doing something more than just shooting random things for no apparent reason), guns with clips instead of revolver barrels (I really, really fucking hate revolvers) and more freedom instead of just a big map built like a maze. With those, I'd probably play the hell out of the game.
Larger areas that make the game feel more like an Elder Scrolls game. I felt that the game was made for consoles because the areas weren't that large, and the loading between them ended up being excessive. The game also became a little too linear, despite how open many of the maps were. Basically, I want Borderlands mixed with Elderscrolls. ES has great lore too. I think Borderlands needs more lore and a story we can care about.
Yea I liked it a lot but I found myself getting killed really fast as brick with a combined hp and shield of over 5k and berserk stops being useful after a while.And in my opinion they should have made the last boss harder...Just stand behind the pillar it wraps it's arm around and your set for the battle.
Howabout more UNIQUE guns? I loved some of the guns, but they are far too sameish, and need more variety than diff stats.
I agree with guns being the same but adding to many unique guns would sort of remove the taste of "I have this amazing hard to find gun".Then somebody else can easily say i have some to so it would remove the satisfaction of having them
My only real complaint about Borderlands is that, for all the hundreds of weapons you'll pick up during the course of the game, almost ALL of them are completely worthless. I like a lootfest where I'm CONSTANTLY upgrading, constantly finding new better weapons.
However, in Borderlands, I'd find a great shotgun relatively early, and the next 200 shotguns I find are inferior, so I'm stuck with the same shotgun for like 10-15 levels.

I got 2 maliwan revolvers. One caustic. One incinidary. One shottted everything but the last boss. The bullet did not damage but because I was a siren my elemental damage killed even the strongest enemies in 10 seconds.AjimboB said:You hate revolvers?Vrach said:
