Barely managed to beat the Christmas Patriarch in Killing Floor (back during the 2010 Holiday time). I am lucky enough to have this saved in video form, so I can never forget the success that I managed to bring to my team!
hmm. i swear there was a time in FFX that i won by just one turn, and i was certainly dead in the next attack, which was the next move right after mine...actually i think that was the chocobo eater. so yeah.
not just that, but quite a few battles in metroid prime 2, on normal mode, no energy tanks, no additional missiles or ammo upgrades, etc, the boost ball guardian was nearly impossible, and quadraxis took me at least 8 tries to beat as well. as well as the Emperor Ing's final form.

The god Ahriman made me rage-quit the game for six months twice! The rest of the bosses in the last segment was a walk in the park compared to him.
