Greetings fellow escapists.
As you all know game industry has always been a ruthless world where many developers and IP meet their demise due to not being able to meet the green quota. When a developer falls out of grace outcomes are usually few. They either dissolve into industry or worse yet EA. IP's however generally go through a longer process of torment before dissolving into dust. Process is know to be called milking. It is not a process exclusive to failing franchises nor gaming but its certainly more ruthless on the "has been"s of any industry. Today thanks to our technology we have even more ways to eliminate the word "dignity" from our vocabularies...
Let me show youan example i unfortunately had to witness.
Here is an example of a dead franchise whose corpse is put on exhibit..on IOS. Devoid of any depth, character let alone innovation. Funny thing is the exhibit is free. If you want to take a picture with the victim however it would cost you. Not much mind you since they don't want to scare away customers. Music is nice though if not suitable for a funeral.
So tell me fellow escapists. Do you have franchises close to your heart that have been a victim of time, neglect and corporate greed?
Captcha: the end is near... I hope so
