Boxing Day Shopping

Any Canadians (it's my unterstanding that boxing day is uniquely Canadian) braving the stores on the 26th? What are you planning on getting? I'm queued right now on the Futureshop website (getting two laptops; one from mom and dad). I also picked up season 6 of It's Always Sunny for $15 and Halo Reach for $10. What about you guys, what are you getting?

Getting a PS3 (160GB on sale for Boxing Day for $200). A few days ago, I was at EB Games, and they told me that the 320GB PS3 with Uncharted 3 was on sale for $250 and that "there's no point in getting a 160GB PS3 anymore." Saving $50 on a PS3 sounds like a pretty good reason to me. Haven't played Uncharted so I don't know if it's worth dropping $50 on, and I doubt I'll need anymore than 160GB's worth of memory.

Well... it's just gone 8:10am Xmas day as I haven't really thought about Boxing Day, there's already been tonnes of sales here to lure the Xmas shoppers in, though I suspect they'll be slightly better after Xmas.

I want to trade my PS3 in and get another in a sale so I save even more money, other than that I don't want anything; I already got Satins Row 3 for £20 last week, oh and Rayman, too :3

As a UK citizen I am highly offended you forgot that Boxing Day was our tradition too - you're now kicked off the Commonwealth Christmas card list.

Was going to get Assassin's Creed: Revelations but my brother got it for me as an Xmas present.

Just went out and got (all for PS3):

- Bulletstorm (£7.99)
- Medieval Moves (£7.99)
- Dungeon Siege 3 (£3.99)
- House of the Dead: Overkill (£12.99) - to play with brother this evening before he heads home.

Looking forward to getting started on these - should probably get off the Escapist forums first!

Australia here, also with Boxing day. Completely avoided the whole stupid affair as this years "sales" are the same price as last years prices.

Boxing day time? Well I was going into the city for other reasons today so I guess I'll see if I can make any crazy purchases. With my budget however I may just be content with what I got for Christmas.

I just bought a cheap digital camera (£40, I could of bought a £50 but it look more stuff and I rarely use a camera) and a 4gb memory card with it (my bro laugh that I was going to use my 256mb for a 12mp camera).

Just got back from the mall, picked up LOTR blu ray set, and a new Xbox controller. Saw some pretty crazy lines though, Im just glad I wasnt in a rush, took forever to find a parking spot.

Yesterday, I went to a mall which wasn't overloaded with people but quite full. I got myself The Wall by Pink Floyd and a new pair of shorts. I bought something online too, the Band of Brothers Box Set.
