Also - Rage and Dead Island.

Incase you're not aware, there's a 6-part developer commentary covering the development of rage avaliable on the Bethesda Blog.

Uncharted 3
Assassins Creed Revelations
Arkham City
Rage

I expect to be fine. I'm single at the moment and with the small amount of time I actually get to play, fall releases last me for most of the year.

I don't have a significant other so I'm not too worried about that. Otherwise steps have been taken to prepare my room and my PC for constant usage. I've already pre-ordered:

- Dead Island
- Team ICO Collection
- Battlefield 3
- Skyrim
- Assassin's Creed Revelations
- Ace Combat Assault Horizon

... to name a few. I'll also be picking up others at my local EB Games.

Most of the games I buy are for my wife or son, or both. I have a serious weird horror addiction, and not much else interests or impresses me. So my only must-have doesn't even appear on anybody else' list: the new Silent Hill. My son loves the monsters and my wife likes the stories, so I'm perfectly safe.

I might also have to have Dead Island, but I anticipate being bored with it at some point. After almost four decades of mindless enjoyment, I've come to want more from video games than just that, so not much impresses me, I guess.

A Hermit's Cave
Hmmm... AC:R, Skyrim, Deus Ex: HR, so not that bad, I think.

Though all of them being open-world/open-ended games, I'm going to be a hermit for a couple weeks at least...

Captcha: Rosenberg's edialli... wonder what that is...

Lol, my fiancée has been putting up with my gaming habits for 8 years now. I don't see it going wrong anytime soon.

My laptops gfx-card has been acting up temperature-wise the last few months so I just called in an RMA. Hopefully I'll have it back before DX:HR. If not, got backup laptop for older games.

Also, Skyrim looks good so far. Just hope it doesn't suffer from 'needs 150+ mods to make it awesome'-syndrome.

How the hell did captcha know about my rma.. 'Lewis rmatub' Is there a tech named Lewis and will he drop my laptop in the tub? ô_0

Gears 3, Skyrim, Disgaea 4, Mass Effect 3... oh boy... my mate and i are gonna be playing the HELL outta some games... we're both gamers so it's cool. and *I'M* the attention-based one anyway. so it'll mostly be me bugging him when i take a gaming break.

Unless your loved one to be is also a rabid gamer like yourself which is totally awesome, with Skyrim, Uncharted 3, Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Gears 3, Resistance 3 (jeez, a lot of 3s :/) Saints Row 3 and several others, have you first of all prepared your gaming platform of choice for consistant usage, second of all, prepared your room of choice for consistant usage, and thirdly, prepared your partner for not being seen for a few days, weeks, months, depending on how rabid you are?

Which games are you getting this fall? :D

Funny you should mention because me and my gf are gonig to co-op though saints row 3 the local co-op option makes me so happy it makes me want to buy 2 copys just to support local awesomness that developers like to ignore these days even though I will own 2 copies of the same game.

OT: I will also be getting batman arkham city I cant wait for the last comic to come out :D

When Skyrim and AC: Revelations comes out I plan becoming a hermit, I've already told my co-workers to expect me to be very tired.

As for significant others?

Well, I don't have one, so I don't have to worry about that!

I think I'm good. She knows I'm a big gamer, she's accepted that, so now when I get a new game, I'm either able to pull my self away or she can come over and just watch me play while She sits in my lap, chances are she'll fall asleep but she's said before that she enjoys napping on me.

My wife would cheer if we had the money for games, but we don't. Besides, I'm not interested in any of the titles you mentioned. If I ever get in a position where I can afford games again, I gotta catch up on the games I've missed so far:

Pokemon Black/White, Portal 2, Ocarina of Time on the 3DS, Starcraft 2 (though I'm tempted to refuse buying this over recent statements and decisions by Blizzard), Bastion, Mega Man 10, my wife wants Mortal Kombat, X-Men Destiny is about to come out, Catherine looks interesting, and I'm obsessed with finding a copy of Persona 4 for the PS2 now that I'm aware of its existence...

Well I'm single so I have nothing to worry about. It's also kind of strange that I've never actually been out with a guy who was into gaming.
