Well if you've already played the orange box then get Crysis (which I take it you mean comes with Warhead aswell). There's quite a bit of game there and the updates on TF2 are hardly major - certainly not worth buying it all again, even if it is the bargain of forever.

Depends. Are you saying that you will only have 1 game to last you for a long time? Then Orange Box. It is far, far better on PC, and there is an astronomical amount of content that is PC only for TF2. But then again, your not already convinced to buy the Orange Box, so you are probably generally okay with having TF2 on Console: Its no where near as good, but it is still TF2. The main reason I would choose Orange Box is so you can get source, which means that you have a nearly infinite amount of mods you can play. If you can only have 1 game, it might as well be Half Life 2, since it effectively gets you infinate games. In reality, you should have just gotten the Half Life 2 pack on Steam for a ludicrous discount, and still had money left over for Crysis.

If you are a typical gamer who plans to buy another game or 2 in the near future, then get the Crysis pack, hands down. Its not quite as much content as Orange Box, but it will be all new, and it comes with a multiplayer game. Also, since you have Orange Box already, the content will be all new. Mods arn't quite as widespread, but there is some very good ones in the pipe (Mechwarrior: Living Legends comes to mind http://www.mechlivinglegends.net/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/). As a game, the Orange Box stuff is better designed, but Crysis is still very well designed if you can tolerate cheesy story and dialog. And whenever I get a new computer, I like to have a very pretty, graphics hog game to test it out, and Crysis is the benchmark.

Overall, since I am a strong proponent of mixing up your gaming diet, I have to say Crysis. There 2 fantastic sets of games, and are both very much worth playing. Its better to play both, rather then play 1 on a better platform. Besides, im sure some day soon Valve will sell the Orange Box for 10 bucks again. I would wait until then.

What updates did the 360 have for TF2? because I'm still under the impression that they have the starting maps, and no class updates. And if that's the case, then saying that the updates are hardly major is ludicrous. TF2, through updates, easily has 3 or 4 times the content, minimum.

The orange box. accept no substitutes.

In fact, get both. The orange box is really cheap on PC now, so if it's decided by the amount of money, you would have enough left over for crysis. I envy you if you can run such a demanding game...

Well, if you already have the Orange Box, then I'd say Crysis. From what I've heard the update (at least for Team Fortress 2) is just a few new weapons and hats.
Go for the Orange Box, it may be some new weapons and hats, but its all worth it~!!

My two main choices are The Orange Box, and the Crysis complete pack on Steam. I already have the Orange Box on 360 but I want a chance to play with the new updates. Yes my PC can run Crysis and Crysis Warhead. Which should I get, and what else do you reccomend?
Orange Box, if you can stretch it the Valve Complete Pack will be better value. It's quite a big spend (I think it's $100 at the moment) but it's about thirty full games including the Orange Box, Left 4 dead and the other Source shooters Day of Defeat and Counter Strike: Source.

It's completely worth it, but then it is a big spend.

Crysis. Better games, and the orange box would be pointless seeing as you have it on 360. A point which most of these people seem to have missed...
There is the added benefit of mods and the TF2 updates. I would go with the Orange Box too.

I had it on PC, I actually forgot about the maps and that (haven't played it in a loooooooooooong time) but still, it'd be buying 4 games for no reason for 1. Buy TF 2 by itself, not all of them again, unless you want to play them all again.

I don't know! Seems more worth it to me to buy 2 new games you haven't played over getting games you have already played.

Like many have said before, seeing as you already have the Orange Box, get Crysis. Also if you aren't sick of it, Oblivion on the PC is infinitely better than the console versions, a huge amount of mods, and means of fixing the A-Bomb.

Let's see... A box containing some of the best FPS games ever or a mediocre overhyped pile of bland poop? Get the Orange Box. Better yet, if you alread have the Orange Box for another platform, get some other game. Just don't get Crysis. Ever.

Generally, I agree with you. But if you go back to TF2 now, I think you will be surprised. There's about a half dozen new game modes, proberally a dozen new maps at least, and the updates to all the classes which vastly improves the options for every class, and every possible counter-strategy, not to mention a ton of little tweaks that make the game noticeably better. The amount of support TF2 is getting from Valve is mind blowing. If it was any other developer, TF2 would be on its 3rd or so expansion. Personally, I think all Valve games are better on the PC, but I suppose TF2 is the only one that is essential, and I'm sure that by the time the next update rolls around, it will be on sale for $10. But I agree, if you already own the Orange Box, get Crysis, another fabulous game. Mix it up. I would only recommend buying Orange Box again if you are on a strict budget, and need a ton of mods to keep you filled with content.

Well that I'll agree with :p

I don't understand why you want to get the entire orange box again though? It's cheap, but if you only want TF2 then only get TF2, you might have enough money to scrounge Crysis & Warhead as well, or am I missing something?
