Just a follow up to that story a while back about the freedom of information act request for information about plans for dealing with a zombie invasion.
Well there was another one this week, and Bristol city council responded with actual detailed plans for zombie attack:

Just to put things in perspective for non-British escapists, Bristol is a fairly major city (about 1 million residents), so it's good to know that their council is ready to protect them.

Well chavs aren't getting any smarter, so they'll form into such creatures that a zombie plan will have to be activated.

Well, its nice to see some people have a sense of humour these days.

Although it may be hard for some people to accept that Bristol will be our savious in the apocalypse.

That....is....amazing. Clever, witty, and it would actually work.

Bristol, I salute you and your total and complete epicness.

A City Council with a sense of humour? That settles it, screw Oxford or Exeter - I'm coming to Bristol for University :D

But seriously, I am in total awe of this.

I love your avatar
OP: how silly, good to know they have a sense of humour, and they're willing to look into unlikely situations...

Yeah, we basically already have an outbreak, right?
OT: Apparently the read the same book I did. Last year, I was like, "Zombie outbreak? Pah!" but it actually convinced me that it's possible.

I was wondering whether to move to Leeds or Bristol but if Bristol is safe from zombie a attacks (an event guaranteed to happen some time soon) its a no-brainer.

And a chav is what used to be called a townee.

From now on, whenever a person posts a 'What's your zombie plan?' thread, we must ALL reply "Go to Bristol"
I'm going to treat this as if it was on the 4chan request forum.
Yes good sir, I will do as you wish.

*scuttles off to find zombie thread*

I also encourage other people to do this.

OT: Bristol, I've never really thought about you before, but I sure as hell will from now on.
