I got B and C in English
And in Media I got B for the exam and E for the coursework, which brought it to D.
So B and D overall. I'm pretty chuffed :D

Nice! What did everyone else get?

Not that it matters now really, but last year I got a C in English Lit, a D in ICT, a C in Media AS and a U in Physics. I sucked at Physics.

I have it on good authority from Nostradamus.

Good luck to everyone.
Yes, but if you look at questions from before and questions now, they do seem to be getting easier. I did my A-Levels last year (2 A's, 1 B, 2 C's) and found they were mostly easier than my GCSE's, except for English Literature and Physics which are not only traditionally 'hard' subjects, but also things I'm no good at anyway (I'm more a Maths guy). But yes, evidence does suggest that A-Levels are getting easier. Not that I wish to start the whole debate again, but since that'll happen anyway today I may as well state my piece now.

I'm so glad I did a BTEC.. I knew all the way through the year what grades I could get and got all the grades I needed to get to go to uni.

Who's going to Teeside uni? :)

Congratz all of you who got your grades that you needed :)

Oh, who knew that Cpt Picard is the high chancellor of Huddersfield uni? One of the only reasons thats the other uni well recognised...

I get my GCSE results on the 27th, I'd like to say I'm really worried but I think I'll breeze it. My only real concern is my English results, everything else I think I'll get a B or lower in. Well, pretty much everything else...
I'm worried about my GCSEs also, seeing if I fail my sciences, I can't go to college.
Perhaps revision would've been a good idea.

This is a bad thing, because they constantly try to correct the difficulty. This means next academic year's tests will be harder. I start 6th form this year.

I got EE in my science... I moved schools and my grades didn't move with me. Edexcel realised the cock up and gave me CC

Science is piss, don't worry about it :)

Why are all you guys happy with C's and B's? My parents will probably kill me if I get a single C in my GCSEs...-Facepalm- Even in art, God...Kill me now, I'm going to fail maths like hell.

Edit because I didnt read the topic properly:

The A-levels are getting easier, I mean, its something like 99% with passing grades now. Meh, as long as you do well i guess thats all the matters.

On another subject, I did my first set of GCSE's this year, and they were piss easy. (going into year 11 in september) Seriously, they should make GCSE's way harder. Couldn't say about A levels yet, but my teacher of a mum says there easy as well.
