I seriously believe one day that all bronies will be like " You really fucking believed that we like MLP? LOLOLOL".
that reminds me of when that one youtube show show'd the MLP Theme to a bunch of kids and told them there was a fandom, and naturally they made fun of the bronies since they were only shown the theme song, but one of the kids was hilarious because he could only rationalize it in his head that anyone who claims to like the show is is actually just trolling the internet. What I find funny is actually imagining if that were true, I mean, wouldn't it be pretty much the biggest successful troll is successful ever? I mean, it's been going for 2 years now, and will continue for awhile, it's reached nearly every corner of the internet, we've been on the national news several times, raised tens of thousands of dollars for charity, beat 4chan in a war to the point where they then decided to leave and create another chan, and then 4chan even created a special board just for them afterwards, not to mention nearly a million people being involved with the movement and tons of special merchandise.
But seriously, getting back to the topic on hand, it's just a good cartoon show, and if you're the type of person who likes shows like P&F, Spongebob, Anamaniacs, Avatar, or most big disney films, then you'll probably like it for much the same reasons. Also, the first episodes are not the best representation of the show to be perfectly honest. They're good at introducing the characters and that's really about it. For better examples of the what the show has to offer, search up "Sonic Rainboom" "Party of One" "Lesson Zero" or "Reed it and Weep," they're much better examples of what the show has to offer in terms of action, humor, and character development. Also, I've found that it really takes about 4 episodes to get over the initial denial that you like the show. I know many people, including myself, who initially only watched an episode or two, and said they either didn't like it or were at least not interested, but then go on to eventually be convinced to watch another few episodes and suddenly realize they really do like it. I'm not saying everyone is like that, but it happens a lot due to the bad stigma that the show brings from it's past.
Also, I love the comment of "Girls took our vampires and werewolves, so we took their ponies." I'm so gonna use that to explain this from now on.
