Unlimited Hakumen in Score Attack nearly made me cry...it was horrible.
That guy take whole chucks off your lifebar and has huge range in just normal mode...

Most people seem to be missing his post about how he would like PC games only on account of not owning a console...

Borderlands.
"Borderlands?" you ask, "that game isn't even that hard!" Right. It isn't. Except for CRAWMERAX (the Destroyer), an optional bonus boss after completing The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. The mission is rather fittingly named "You. Will. Die.", because you will do exactly that. Over and over again. God can't help you now.

I hate Deadrising, it is brutal because the mechanics are just mess up to me. Plus it suffers from the one of the worst things a game can have, a time limit over the whole game. Game makers need to stop this shit of 3 days to complete a game like Zelda Majora's Mask. A game isn't fun if I can't take the time every once in awhile to just mess/joke around and experiment with how the game is made.

Yes I could unlock unlimited time mode if I beat the game once, but I couldn't be bothered with trying. Unlimited time mode should have been available from the start, it could have been easy mode, and the three day thing is hard mode.

I never would have gotten ANYWHERE in MegaMan 2 without code generators or quicksave. That shit is hard.
Mega Man 2 isn't that hard. I would say the hardest part in the game is rationing out the flash timer in the Quick Man stage so you don't get hit by the one hit kill energy beams.

After that, it is smooth sailing. I haven't played the game too many times but I would say that I had beat MM2 at least 10 times on my original NES(R.I.P.).

Unlimited Score Atthackumen will also gleefully spam his fullscreen, unblockable, nigh-uninterruptable "Judgement: Snowstorm" DD just to fuck with you even more.
It is fucking crazy on a Gnarls Barkley scale.

Currently sat back down to have another crack at Demon's Souls... First level is tough, and took me a good few hours, and it only gets worse after that. You have to know every single enemy location, every single attack pattern, and unless you play as a ranged character, you have to be able to perfect parrying, blocking and dodging with perfect reflexes. And if you play it in offline mode, you can make it even harder, as it removes all the advice that players can leave for you.....

That said, it's amazing fun, and was the major reason behind getting PS3.

I doubt I could even get past the first section. Which sadastic evil person would come up with such a hard first level?

"Final Fantasy II
Since this thread has gotten fairly tropey.. tropish. (trubbish). I'm gonna say YMMV. Final Fantasy 2 is extremely hard, but it's not very fun. It's honestly one of the worst Final Fantasy games. It's not like in I Wanna Be The Guy, where the difficulty is a joke in itself, FF2 is just poorly designed.

Someone earlier mentioned ADOM. I'm gonna second this. As roguelikes go, it's probably one of the easier ones..that's not saying much. It plays faster than Nethack, and it's much better designed than the infinitely cheap Stone Soup, so it makes a great starting roguelike. It's still not remotely easy though.
I've nearly beaten it, but only through virtue of allowing myself a mercy save. The first 2 quests will kill you hundreds of times, so any time I clear them both, I consider that a savepoint. It's technically cheating, but replaying the first 2 dungeons hundreds of times isn't fun at all.

That being said. SLASH'EM. It removes a lot of the stupid shit from Nethack and replaces it with sodomizing difficulty. Also, you can turn into a werewolf. That is all.

Well duh, but I keep seeing mentions of Demon's Souls and Blaz Blue, until I remembered that there was a PC release for it for Blaz Blue. Someone also JUST mentioned Halo 3, which wont be emulated for a while.

Are we talking programmed to be difficult because they designed the game to be challenging? Or are we talking about a poorly programed game with horrid physics and gameplay mechanics that make playing it difficult? Because I have more recommendations for the latter than the former. :D

Blazblue's online function.

You will cry, cut, cry and cry some more. If not because you've been destroyed by an epic Jin player, because of the endless number of seemingly impossible-to-punish Noel scrubs that spam the drive button.

I wish I had a PS3.
Get one. Demon's Souls is worth it, plus there's a sequel coming soon.

You could also try jumping into Starcraft multiplayer, but that's just because the serious players are really good.
That sequel better come to WiiU.
I'm afraid not, I even thin the guys at From have said that it is not coming for the WiiU..
Not that I care, cause Imma play it on ma PS3 XD (sorry)

Definitely Final Doom: Plutonia Experiment.

And the 3 "extra" episodes to Heretic.

You just get so overwhelmed so fast I can't play them without cheats and cheating ruins the game for me. Fortunately, Final Doom: TNT and the original 3 episodes for Heretic were so damn good.

You want sweat dripping off you as you play? Get the Unbreakable achievement on Left 4 Dead, ideally on a harder difficulty. The scariest part is connection issues, when your three friends lag out and you have to hide in the corner of the safe room as the AIs eye up your wounds, health kit in hand.

Also, beating Metroid Prime or Prime 2 without any extra energy tanks would be very impressive.
