finally, a voice of reason. Why do you think I play video games? It's either that or causing a few "accidents" in the mosh pit.

I've always upheld this. Games, of any kind, serve to discharge all of our negative feelings and the natural pent-up aggresiveness and desire to compete that is inherent to humans. Without games, we'd be murdering each other now.

Finally, some praise from religion rather than just calling games the spawn of satan.
It makes a refreshing change of pace doesn't it? Thank you Buddishm. The peace loving people are always the one to see the light.

Woohoo! A religion gains a point! Though Buddhism is miles ahead anyway.

Still it's nice to see some sense from a religious leader when it comes to videogames. Rather than the same tired "We must protect our children" line that's been spewed since Gutenberg got finished printing the Bible and moved on to saucier stuff.

Don't say that to any Buddhists.

I'm glad there's at least one religious leader out there who has the same outlook as me on games; down to some of the same wording I use.

After getting home from work, sometimes the best thing to do to "decompress" is to just blow stuff up. I'm happy I can do it in a game.

And this even goes for really sick games like Rapelay: the more time some pervert spends playing a rape simulation, the less time he'l have to go out raping real people. That's just common sense.

It also makes me think that most of the troubles in the Middle East could be solved with ice cream and video games.

Hmm, what a refreshing change. You don't get this very often.

What many of the anti-gamers tend to forget about is that not all video games are violent. I've managed to eliminate stress and have fun playing a variety of games, whether it was Call of Duty or Plants vs Zombies.

I do agree that video games is just one of many methods to help you with a bad day. Just because you use another method, does not mean video games are bad.

Bloody finally! I have stated before that I believe video games are actually stalling psychotics from killing, because they can just do them.
