Buffy The Vampire Slayer Thread

So anyone on the Escapist remember the good old days when vampires were actually cool not sparkly. Anyone remember Angelus or Spike, or just the awesome fight scenes and funny puns? I know some of you used to watch that show, at least, I hope some of you did. Lets talk about the show on here and remember the awesomeness that was vampires.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer were some of the best seven years on television in my humble opinion. Oddly enough it had very little to do with the vampires (save for Angel and Spike). One thing I did like though is that the show made it a point to un-romanticize vampires. They're just predatory dicks.

My dad has every season of Buffy (and Angel for that matter) on DVD and he is the BIGGEST fan of the show I know. In fact, he's such a big fan of vampires that I'm fairly certain he wanted to punch our flat-panel after watching twiglift. I grew up watching the show until it ended when I was 8, so I like to thank Buffy and her weird band of heroic counterparts for giving me a realistic perspective on life that has forever since given me my optimistically strong personality...instead of learning that crap modern cartoons force feed children (*disapproval*). Buffy is awesome, hands down, no way that can be denied. (<3 Hush)
