MTW2 is buggy? I never heard that. I believe you, but I never encounted one bug, and I've played the hell out of that game. Well, one text error actually. Not really a bug though.

And Mercenaries 2 is the buggiest game ever. Seriously. Look it up. At any one time you're playing you're encountering atleast 2 glitches at a time. Every single bit of the game is prone to glitching. Depending on how bad whatever you're running it on is. Apparently some xboxs are more prone to glitches, my friend literally could not play the game on his xbox, and it was a known fact that his has glitches/freezes more often. He got a new xbox after that, and the game was fine. Well not fine, but actually playable.

The fallout series! Some areas were innacessible, memory leaks, save games file corruption... Loved it to bits anyway mind you.

It just makes it that much more appropriate that Bethesda, makers of such sandbox bug-farms as Morrowind and Oblivion, has taken up the reins.

how has anyone not said Shadow of Chernobyl, or Clear Sky yet?

you can hardly do anything to those games without it screaming at you. My clear sky does a bug report sometimes when i start it up!

Hmm mine is Shadow Dancer for the Master System. I quit even trying to play it after the first minute when both my sprite and the enemy started flickering in an out of existence amd the throwing star that had been lobbed at me disappeared only to end up embedded in my character's head. Haven't touched the thing since.

I'm gonna say Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Seriously, there was so many glitches in that game, I'm surprised no-one has mentioned it.

Shadows was kinda glitchy on my desktop, but it ran like butter on my laptop.
Then again, desktop = vista, laptop = xp

Coincidence?
I think not.

Boy that’s a good one; I would have to say either the original release of Oblivion or Dark Messiah: Might and Magic. When they first came out I rushed home eagerly and slammed the disc into the tray installed them.

Low and behold, I got the most horrific crash/freeze fest ever witnessed by mankind. I promptly uninstalled……..oh wait… that’s right……oblivion (pre-patch) could not be uninstalled without purging the files manually and then mercilessly hunting down the registry entries.

Dark Messiah was even worse, it wouldn’t even load 90% of the time, you would load your single player game from the menu and it would sit on the halfway mark forever, and you couldn’t minimize or task manager, you could only hard reboot your PC. The multiplayer was non-functional.

I have only two words to describe the first week of playing those games after release…

EPIC FAIL!!!

I've been playing I Wanna Be The Guy again lately, and it's horridly buggy. This has been explained to be the fault of Multimedia Fusion 2, or whatever, but it's still extreeeemely buggy. I'll give it credit though, it is a piece of freeware.

As for games I've paid for to have bug out? Morrowind liked to crash my Xbox periodically. Still, it wasn't *that* bad. Oblivion's got some bugs too, but not to the extent Morrowind did.

I bought Oblivion for the PC, tried to install it and it broke my computer. Nothing worked. It crashed every time I tried to turn it on. I had to get a new one. It made me furious.
