Sometimes bugs make a game even better. I remember the first time I played Half-Life 2, shortly after its release. My PC of the time was barely meeting the recommended specs, and I was running seriously outdated video card drivers although I did not know that since I mostly played much older games.
Started up HL2, and everything that was supposed to be the Combine metallic grey was rendered a pure white: the HEV chargers, their weapons, and the Striders. I thought it looked really cool, alien tech! I had no idea that what I was seeing, was not intended.
A while later I updated my drivers, and the look became normal. Somehow it diminished the experience for me, HL2 has never been the same.
I'd be interested to see if others have similar experiences with games, where a bug or error actually makes the game better somehow. Can be really anything, from wrong drivers to actual unfixed bugs.
