Right off the bat, this is based more in a Biblical sense then anything else.

In the beginning there was naught, and from the bleak nothingness the gaming gods created the Atari, and it was good... up until the NES and the Sega Genesis. Then as time progressed a new hero arrived that set the gaming world aflame. THE NINTENDO 64 and the world was showered with a new hope. But as time progressed and gamers who had grown through the arcades and Pong lost interest in the medium a new hero would soon arise to save gamers across the globe. One less of a cheap sell out as the Wii and more incredible the the 360... and all Gamers united and rejoiced.

I must be included as one of PurpleRain's head minions and supporters, and PurpleRain should be included as the evil lord-god of this world, essentially the devil.

I also find it funny that someone who hasn't been here that long wants to compile a Lore database of Escapists, people who he doesn't know much about, unless he was a lurker a looooooong time before he joined.

Oh, and another thing, here's a reading from the unwritten books of Escapism:
Inverse Skies. 46:1116
"And so, in the sky, lights flashed and in the air explosions were deafening, as Spartan Bannana and Richard Groovy Pants' opinions did clash once more, as they have for Centuries.

I wouldn't say no to being included I suppose. I normally stay out of these things but if Susan's volunteering, I assume it can't be too bad.

Perhaps a deific leader or something like that. A benevolent god, for sure.

I got an idea, bury a ancient flash drive in the sand somewhere and wait a century or two and see if we become a religion!

Aren´t legends usually compiled afterwards from oral lore and such? I mean, an event becomes a legend years and years after it´s occurrence. It is quite understandable for a newer member of the community to excavate the ruins upon which The Escapist of today is build. Older members just need to rummage their memory and provide necessary information.

...I like you.
You disagreed with my opinion without insulting me or calling me an elitist(Still not an Insult, Rich).

Yahtzee is the God of wisdom and branston pickle, he was born from a union of man a refridgerator, and is tasked with the neverending job of trying to get the games industry to stop releasing crappy or mediocre games because he had the gall of saying Chuck Norris, the god of War ad Strength, was less awesome than branston pickle on Killer 7

Yahtzee is at war with the Angry Video Game Nerd, Yahtzee has always been at war with the Angry Video Game Nerd, and 2+2=5 if the Mighty Escapist Crew tells me so

I really didn't have much to say except look at how many people's avatars have lightsabers in them above. 8 different ones.

Although to avoid getting off topic if we did have mythology we should defiently cut a deal with who ever made those Age of Mythology games to work in an expanion pack.
