The only thing an IQ does is measure your learning and comprehension abilities, not necessarily how smart you are. They want PS3 software experts that also have a high IQ, cutting out a lot of useful people. Besides, basically they're trying to hire a person who is an expert at what they do based on their learning ability to learn what they already are an expert at.

IQ scores were part of my HS transcripts. That score's (arguable) significance gets lower as I age. I'm guessing that this is, among other things, a way of saying they want young'ns or folks with recent encounters with education systems.

If you are being serious then yes, stop. Have you heard of MENSA? It's the high IQ foundation, it's is recommended universally that if you are a member you do not mention it in job interviews/resumes.
