So I was playing fable 1, and came to the point where I met the Jack Of Blades. Then I thought "hes awesome, I want to join him".

Then I got a kick to the balls, when the game FORCED me to do It.

Have this ever happened to you? Have you ever felt sympathy to the bad guy?

If this was doned before, keep it to yourself, because I searched and I found nothing

Jack was a wimp of a villain.

Scythe was Bad-Ass.
Shycte was an ugly old pussy. Jack of Blades was fucking awesome.

I really wanted to join Adam the Clown in Dead Rising, but he didn't quite seem to want me to tag along with him. I think Frank would've looked badass in the same kinda suit.
NO! Scythe is awesome! He's like the grim reaper!

None of the villans have ever been smart enough to realize what a powerful character I am.

The second you mess up my story, you're on the "Kill" list.

When a villan walks up to me and sees the little strings controlling his actions, and makes that wonderful connection that, "Hey, this is the PLAYER! He has a console!", then I'll team up with them.

Untill then, they're plot devices that give me exp.

After realizing why Kuja (FF9) had done what he did, I felt a little bit of sympathy for him. A bit too late, though...

Sarevok... I wanted to redeem him... pity he was a stubborn git.

SPOILER

Yes I am aware that you can later in the series.

END SPOILER

Dagoth Ur; he was totally the good guy.

Most of the other villains I like were either long past the moral event horizon or you get to join/redeem them either way.

I really didn't want to sacrifice the humans on the last mission of Warcraft 3,but it had to be done. Fairly epic last mission though.
