You mean Beta? My chemistry class calls it a B with a mullet.

I'd love an umlaut key, especially if there was an individual for every vowel.
There is keys for these kind of letters... sort of.

Yeah, it puzzles my why European keyboards are like that, there doesn't seem to be any valid reason for it.

And also, French AZERTY keyboards have what I could describe as a lowercase 2 instead of a "~".

A "contextual quote that makes me look Smart" button would be handy.

I just press a button and wha-bam, "One must be a wise reader to quote wisely and well."

Close all programs in one button. Not trying to hide anything, but sometimes I've got 8 websites, 11 PDF documents, 3 word documents, my finder window, ITunes, Address Book, and Calendar all open at once. I'd love to say bye bye in one touch of a button (and I guess a confirm action prompt, in case you hit it by accident)

A rage-quit button.
I have my home key bound to instaquit most games.

I want a few more keys made for macros on my keyboard, but it only has room for media buttons and program shortcuts.

The "FUCK THIS SHIT" button. Right next to the exclamation point, who needs that little tilde shit?

I mean really, what the hell is this thing for?! ~ <--- WTF!?
There's a "¬," and a "¦" next to the exclamation mark on my keyboard. ',:\
Well on american keyboards its the "`" and "~"

I'm guessing your using a European one. Which is different, for some reason...

OT: A "meh" button.
Hmm...

My keyboard has a button next to the 1 key that does this: "`" when shift is not pressed, and does this: "¬" when shift is pressed, but I have no idea how to make it do this thing: "¦" but it's labelled to do that too.
Somehow

äöüß?
You could get a german keyboard, it includes all the english keyboard letters, but these four too.

As for me, I demand a capslock-lock button!
Hm.. This is true, but then again, i'm using a laptop and I don't even have a desktop :\

How about a button that does nothing?

That way you can press it all you want without fear of somehow typing in a command that ends up setting your Computer on fire.

May be a problem. I mean there's always the possibility to just switch the language setting to german, but I find it really puzzling when letters and caption differ.

Hmm, I have a button with "^", "~" and "¨" (umlaut) right next to the enter key. I assumed all keyboards had some way to make umlauts. How do they expect you to write "Brütal"?!

Anyway... I'd like a Google button where the Windows button is located now since it's kinda useless on Linux.

You can open developer consoles in certain games with it. Also, on Wiki sites, you can do four tildes to sign a comment or something.

I think they should have a "???" button. Right next to "PROFIT". The ???? button's function is not yet known.

EDIT: Also, a fgsfds button.

It's used when writing digital logic to represent NOT

So NOT A can be written as ~A

I actually find that thing a hell of a lot more useful than the windows key. Windows key did more harm then good until I got me keyboard that lets me disable it. Most pointless key ever, between the right windows key and right control. Script key or some shit? I've never used it or heard anyone even say anything remotely close to it having a use.
