Buying a DS...whats its best games?

Can't go wrong with Pokemon Black/White. Etrian Odyssey (1, 2 or 3, you really cant go wrong) and Knights in the Nightmare.
Also I'd recommend getting the 3DS mainly for the fact that there might be a game in the near future you might want that will be only for the 3DS.

The only reason I got a DS was to try to relive my childhood and play Pokemon, and I somehow got rehooked on the series. So I'd have to recommend that, along with everyone else and their mom who has already.
Nah, I really think you should wait and get a 3DS once there's a price drop, but that's not what you were asking.
