As I've seen before, people have been saying buying(and making) your own desktop is better than buying a gaming laptop. While I agree this is true, I made my own desktop and ran very well but it has had a lot of problems in the last few months. Long story short, it doesn't work right now.
So right now, I am looking at getting a gaming laptop for college as 1. I don't feel like spending a lot of time putting together another computer 2. With the limited space in my dorm room, I wouldn't have anywhere to put it and 3. It is a hell of a lot more portable than the bulky desktop.

So I want to know which is a better one and if you guys had any better suggestions in mind.
