So let me ask yet another lingerie related question.
C-string. Is it any good?
Only review I've found was this
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-458818/Forget-G-string--ANYONE-wear-new-C-string.html
And it mostly makes me angry, because of how stupid and limited the author sounds
(I personally don't know her, maybe she's a genius, but this article doesn't show it)

It looks interesting enough, but is it good enough?
Is it physically comfortable?
(and feeling "icky" doesn't count- of course you'll feel strange for a first few days/weeks)
How fast it loses it's elasticity?
(as far as I understand it must be an issue, but maybe I'm wrong)
How well it stays in place?
Are there any issues after wearing it for extended period of time?
I'm interested in that kind of information.
So any thoughts or, even better, experience with C-string?

I had to google that shit because i never heard of it and the author really does a horrible job at explaining. I however don't think it's the kind of thing conservative soccer moms would wear and that the author is more than a little bias. It looks sexy as hell from the pics iv'e seen on google. It looks practical enough, but i have no idea how comfortable it would be to wear. I wonder what sizes it comes in.

My butt crack feels uncomfortable just from looking at photos of the back of that thing. Not having tried it myself, I get the feeling that it would be difficult to keep in place, but maybe you just gotta wedge it up there real good. I'm having sweaty flashbacks to the time I accidentally bought a pair of thong underwear and tried to wear it anyway.

Maybe you just got unlucky
According to my sister it really depends on material and quality
If you buy cheap crap it will feel like someone is gorrating your anus (sorry for horrible imagery)
On the other hand quality ones will really feel nice and comfortable

Even as a person with male genitals those things look weird and uncomfortable? and there is a brand for men as well! I wore (crotch protector)cups for baseball, I do not want to wear a cup as underwear.

To be honest female version looks like panties without laces, while male version looks like someone attached sock to the stick. I think there is the same issue designers of Space Activity Suit encounter. Males have external genitals that can change size and that occasionally creates problems.

Well that looks... cringeworthy. Is the daily mail review really the only one you found? A single google search led me to this:
So yeah. Sounds like it has every problem it looks like it would have.

No, it looks like someone put earmuffs on their crotch.

Tell me I'm not spot on.

Yeah, I found that one too, but she never left the home and as far as I understand she barely have worn them
So yeah, not actual attempt to wear it daily
And most her reasoning is "it feels like", not that it actually does something wrong

I think I'll just avoid anything that has the potential for chafing my anus and set that as a general rule.

She apparently wore it enough for the back part to stop digging into her tail bone. So if it's true that she's barely worn them at all, that doesn't say much for their longevity. Secondly, unless you're going to spend hours at home doing star jumps and walking around in order to assure yourself your crotch-band isn't going to drop off while you're out, then yeah, I would say what it feels like is an issue. If it feels like it might fall off, it's doing something wrong.

Well, sometimes gain is worth the risk, but that is your choice I guess, so who am I to claim you're wrong.

As someone who wears boxers exclusively nowadays I have to ask, 'who in their right mind would wear one of those?'

I mean the lack of tan lines I can kind-of get in a retarded logic fashion but at that point wouldn't going Full Monty be simpler, cheaper and not much of a difference in terms of modesty?

What is the "Gain" of wearing ugly, uncomfortable underwear?

I could understand wearing a thong--a "Visual stimulant," if you will--but this thing... come on. It's not even attractive. Then again, I don't know how uncomfortable it is, as I don't wear women's underwear. I've heard through the grapevine, however, that thongs are not exactly great feeling. They look great, though. Lot of love for thongs.

I find the very idea offensive as shiet. As if females dont have to endure stupidly uncomfortable shit already. Fuck whoever made this.

Welp, I'm not switching from my usual normally-proportioned panties anytime soon, that's for fucking sure. That thing looks like it needs to probe your ass just to stay on it, which is kinda bad news. I wouldn't even want to think about periods or *shudders* unexpected bowel movements with that thing. Ughghghgh....

So this thread isn't about violas then? Oh well.

I don't know much about lingerie, but I can guarantee that the laws of physics aren't on this thing's side.

If I was born a girl I wouldn't wear that piece of garbage even if I was threatened with Waterboarding. Why? Because it makes the g-string feel like a pair of comfortable panties (not a girl, don't know what pairs of female underwear are considered to be the most comfortable but even I know just from looking at it the C-String is uncomfortable and impractical) and not to mention if it were to slip off when you're doing something like exercising, or walking, it would be incredibly embarrassing.

To me it more seems like those impractical sexy underroos you'd wear for your special someone. The kind that doesn't stay on long.
