I only stroke it 0-2 times per say, maybe three if I seem to have a excess of testosterone.

Anyway.....Swell review old chap, would get the game if I had money.
dude, 0-2 implies that there are some days you don't. I've heard it's possible, but I just don't believe it.

lol and thank you, good sir. No money? It's okay to steal it, GTA says it's fine and that's good enough for me. I make most of my moral decisions based on media :D

Yeah moving out really gives you palmy freedom. By the end of the first week my room looked like a scene from Alien.

And good call on the price drop, I bought it the day it came out, managed to find ONE left in this store and they wanted £50 for it. £50! I cursed myself for the consumer whore I am when I handed over the dosh lol

Bend over for capitalism!
I can see this getting more and more tasteless, I say we stop now because we're just beating around the bush.

Wow, I actually disgusted myself there.

Good review. Though you're right about the lack of an iconic villain, because it's hard to show the government in an iconic way. To me, the biggest disappointment of the game is finding out all the little things you CAN'T do.

Why can't I hold up the train? Why can't I accuse that cheating bugger of cheating at poker? Why can't I shoot the train's engineer and take it out of control? When your horse dies, why can you call another one in 30 seconds?

Needless to say, I love RDR, and would love to see some other content for it.

Apparently there is some DLC coming out for it (something to do with coop) but I'm sceptical, DLC doesn't exactly have an astounding tack record, unless it's for Mass Effect 2.

I think the biggest offender for "stuff you can't do" is the lack of poker in multiplayer. That would fucking RULE, and rule hard.

The only thing they would have to do is either cut the cheating element out, or allow players to call cheat, but then they would have to allow the cheat call for single... which would end up in a lot more bloody poker games...

Actually my MSN isn't working, so to Escapist PMs Away!
Eeexcellent. Everyone reading, prepare to ruin your pants in sheer ecstasy, THE THING is coming!

Probably cut the element out, honestly. It would also be nice if the money could actually be used for something too, rather than just being a number that gets bigger and smaller by increments. In fact that really confused me and my friend when we played it online at first, we looked all over google to see what the money was for, turns out nothing lol

It would be. Just like all the animal skinning and flower collecting beyond the challenges. Outside of the few weapons you could buy, or that one specific horse you just have to have right now... there's no reason for it.

Bring on the Westerns, just not too many or else we have a glut of them like the FPS flood at the minute.

It may not start a trend of quality Westerns but I'm sure it's success will at least start a rash of mediocre ones. What d'ya think, should I have a doctor look at this?

It's true that the money has little to no purpose, but honestly I can't think of anything that it could be actually used for. Maybe buying outfits rather than relying on random encounters. Damn that took me some time.

It'll be a slow process, and will probably meet in the middle first. You know, like Not-So-Modern Warfare. Or Call of Juarez lol

That's right my friend, it's already begun.

Well you might have had an outbreak of Jonah Hex... I prescribe 3 screenings of The Fast and the Dead followed by something with John Wayne.
