Travis looks up off the floor he fell on (not high enough to cause damage sadly) to see a bady of a woman lying on a bed. There is a dried brown covering the sheets and stab wounds across her body. A knife is lying nicly on the floor in clear daylight.

The babbles of the person inside, are a lot louder. He's through into the next room. A half open door stands between you both. He sounds like he's speaking in his native tounge, Egyptian.

There is a box you can use to rwst by the wall that should be easy to climb up

There's a iron pipe. 1D6 damage plus any extra bonus's

Travis's eyes widen in fear and shock, staring at the body, his mind racing. 'Oh no, this doeesnt look good at all, not one bit.' he thinks as he navigates his way to the door. 'But, I've come this far. May as well look in the other room...' he concludes, and eases the door open...

Sneak: 50

Roll: 33

The door doesnt creak, nor does the floorboards. Travis uses this to his advantage, and sneaks a peak through the crack of the partially open door...

Spot Hidden: 25

Roll: 63

However, the crack is too small, so Travis tries an alternative tactic. Closing the door carefully, he puts his ear to the keyhole and attempts to hear the words in the next room...

Listen: 50

Role: 71

The insane rambling is too frequently spoken, and Travis cannot pick up the words spoken, never mind that they're in Egyptian. Deciding that he would be safe for now, Travis sneaks to the dead woman and pats her body down for any items of interest.

OOC: So, what do I find on the dead womans body?

Jack looked at the hole in the roof and then at Samuel. "I'm small enough to get up there, give me a lift".

Jack was soon climbing through the hole and disappeared from sight.

Sneak Roll: 36. Jack landed without a sound and tip toed over the Travis.

"This is no time for looting" he whispered to Travis "what do you want to do about the man in the next room. I can't understand what he's saying, the only man that can is Saheed and he's out the front... maybe you could knock him out and I'll let Saheed in... then we can figure this mess out.

"Keep the noise down, we dont want to alert our nearby friend now do we?" Travis warned a newly arrived Jack. Continuing his search, he whispered "Jack, maybe you should make sure that there's only one person inside that other room, and that they're not carrying anything too dangerous.". Travis raised his hand a moment to direct Jack back to the door, and then he continued to search.

I know it's only boosting you up, but it kind of ruins the team dynamic if you guys don't listen to each other and do your own thing anyways - AND, as Root frequently, frequently tells me, this is not an RP you want to screw around in, for that way madness lies...or being eaten very quickly

Jacob watched those around him run off by themselves, the only exception being the one who ran off screaming about someone being inside.

"It would have been too much to share the guns, wouldn't it?" He complained, as he looked around for anything he could use to defend himself;

Spot Hidden skill = 50 Roll = 84....shit.

"Bollocks, I'd give my kidney for a gun...which in this place is probably not out of the question either."

Jacob followed around the side of the house, noticing that the shouting had died down completely. He finds Tony and Samuel, meaning that Jack and Travis must have somehow gotten into the house.

"What's happening? And how did they get in? Does no one have a gun?"

Tony picked up the iron pipe, grinning with a perverse glee.

"Now - uh, Sam, was it? - do we go up there and help out, do we go in by the front door or do we look for another entrance?"

OOC: I'm sorry if I broke the rules, but I wanted to get into that roof. Yes, I agree that cooperation amongst characters would be needed but it wasnt like I was controlling him to roll his skills, just giving me a helpful boost. Feel free to get revenge if you truly want, by making my character help you with a similar situation if it arises. =)

OOC: Nah, not a big deal, like I said it was only a boost, but it disagreed with what that character wanted, which sortof goes against a team mechanic in an RP. It's fine though, as it was only a boost, I just thought I'd mention it in case it gets worse later though.

Jack creeped towards the door and tried to listen to the conversation going on but he couldn't make out what the man was saying or if their was anyone else in talking in the room. (OOC:Listen Roll of 90). Deciding the only way he could see if their was more than one man was if he would peek through the door. He tip toed over and tried to look for the man, blast!. He couldn't see anyone. Jack decided to slowly open the door, as he did so a loud creak came from the hyngies...

OOC: Sneak Roll of 80, sorry Toe, looks like we might have to fight our way out of this one.

OOC: Curses, for someone who considers themselves a investigator, you sure make a lot of noise Jack. =(

IC: Travis hears the creak, and turns with a raised eyebrow at Jack... only to see the widening door. Travis whispered quickly "Jack, try to hide. We'll ambush them if they come inside, if not then we decide on our next course of action.". Finsihed with his search of the dead woman, Travis sneaks to a pile of boxes next to the door and prepares for any curious occupants...

Hide: 50

Roll: 10 (does this mean I can get a benefit?)

Finding a decent spot, Travis readies his weapons for possible combat...

(so how does Martial Arts count in combat? Does it include any weaponery?)

OOC:Roll of 55 for Hide, I fail. Sorry Man

Jack looked around at the room but the only spot to hide was taken by Travis.

"Fuck!" All he could do is stand there, waiting for the man to come and fight him. He hid his revolver behind his back and grabbed the Garote with the other. And waited.

Travis simply readied his weapons, and prepared to ambush any of the occupants who could come through the door.

Blayze, PLEASE Look at page 11 - I am not asking for a boost up, I want to know the info my character doesn't have...never mind, I'll just quote it - I thought I made it clear in the 2 or 3 PMs

Sorry for sounding annoyed but I was never, in any of the PMs or on here asking for a boost, I just need the information my character doesn't have or I can't logically proceed, I can't write "Using his psychic powers Jacob reads the minds of everyone and sees that Jack and Travis got in through a hole in the roof, and he then kicks down the door wielding a katana".

Ugh. Today's been one long blonde moment.

"Sorry, didn't hear you for a second. Mental delay or something. To be honest, I don't know what's going on. Two of our lot went in over the top - they were boosted up - Sam heard someone on the other side of the door and I can't remember who has a gun and who doesn't."

OOC; Don't worry about it, it's no problem.

IC;

"If one of us tries to get up there we may make a lot of noise, and we don't have guns, so we probably wouldn't me much use - if you wish I'll boost you up there, but I don't know if it would be wise.

We could try the front door, but we couldn't do that quietly either...then again, doing so might distract whoever was in there...but THAT person could have just been Benji sobbing. I don't think we know enough, it may be safer for them if we just wait out here."

"I agree, the safest place for us, is out here. There is definately someone in there, and both Jack and Travis went in through the roof. There's a box here we could push up against the wall, and climb up, but our only other option right now is to wait and see what's gonna happen inside," Samuel decided just in case, he should at least ready the box in case they needed it, even to climb up and just look inside. Pushing the box over to the wall, while fumbling with the textbooks in his saddle bag wasn't easy though, and it takes him a moment, and a lot of noise scraping the large box along the dirt and gravel side yard. "Sorry, but I don't have a gun either. I did see that Jack had one though."

Jacob sighed at the news that no firearms were available, and spoke to the two men with him;

"Shit, well let's hope things aren't too bad in there. Hopefully you just heard that kid crying in there, not a lot else it could be surely? I don't know whether I should hope to hear gunshots or not - did neither of them shout down after getting up there?"

What are the ones in the museum supposed to do, just wait around for the others to get back or what?

Yeah....I was wondering what Rain would do with you guys, but I didn't want to stay back and find out - it seems that we either jump on the chance for adventure and run the heavy risk of getting eaten or hold back and...not really do anything at all :(
