Museum people: You've been a bit quiet lately. I can juggle the two situations around. Feel free to do anything you wish. Though the car and Saheed is gone.
Pulling the sheets back, the body is naked and full of stab wounds. About thirty just from a quick glance
Jack walks through the door with his gun at the ready. But he is not attacked. At the end of the room there is a man crotching down in the corner babbling on about something in Egyptian. There's writing scrolled across the wall mostly consisting with many of those 'eyes' with that strange object in them, like the wall in the Museum. The boy is rocking back and forth.
Travis sneaked a peak from his hiding spot, and saw Jack standing before the two occupants. Travis immediately felt cowardice, 'Guess these dead bodies got to me more than I thought.' he thought as he rose from his hiding spot. Walking into the room, Travis see's the man incessantly speaking the words that Travis couldnt understand, and takes note of the same symbols on the wall along with writing.
Approaching the boy Travis took for Benji, Travis kneeled beside him and put his hand on his shoulder. Turning him around he asked in some fractured Engyptian...

"Its ok, we are here to help you. Now, can you tell me what happened here? Who are you, and who is that babbling man in the corner? Is there anyone else in the house?" Travis asked in a friendly, unthreatening voice in somewhat broken Egyptian. Waiting for his response, Travis took a quick look around...

... and everything seemed ordinary, except for the two people and the markings on the wall.
OOC: Is it just me, or am I and Fire Daemon being criticised for entering the roof?
Jack looked at the boy and put his weapon away. He stood in the centre of the room unsure about what he should do for a second before remembering Saheed. He ran through the house and opened the door, Saheed stared at him in puzzlement for a second.
"Go through the house, there's an Egyptian man, can't understand what he's saying, strange things on the wall, just through there."
Jack ran around the side of the house and could see the rest of the group standing in the backyard.
"We've opened the door" he said before running back into the house to get another look at the strange room and the even stranger man.
I remember realising that myself as soon as I posted it...and for some dumbarse reason I left it....me = fail. Fixed now.
OOC: Criticised? I dunno - we don't really know what's up there, but Root has always said that Rambo players get owned in Cthulhu once the shit starts hitting the fan, mainly because guns only work on the lowest of the low-tier creatures. If I was going to criticise I would say that it is kind of stupid to hop into an abandoned building where you can hear an insane man babbling, although I guess it worked out fine.
EDIT; I've just read down, so it appears we do know now I guess.
IC;
Jacob enters the house and follows Jack up to what seems to be an Attic. A small boy - presumably Benji sits silently, whilst Travis appears to address him in Egyptian. Across from him is a man, babbling in the same language. The walls are 'decorated' with scribbles of a symbol very similar to the one in Spencer's office.
To see if any of the symbols are different, or if there is anything else of interest in the room;
Spot Hidden skill = 50, roll of 13
To identify any of the symbols;
Occult Skill = 80, roll of 78
History skill = 50, roll of 93...damn, well if it requires any history knowledge that's a fail then.
Just in case Benji doesn't speak at first, I'll make a couple psych. and a persuade roll, I'll write in the dialogue if it is needed;
Psychology skill = 80, roll of 26 }
Psychoanalysis skill = 51, roll of 16 }To see what if anything is wrong

OOC: Whilst that's true, you really have to go with what the character will do. Remember if you survive two adventures with the same character, you're really lucky,
OOC: Something's come up for me, I can post for the next three days and then I'm on holiday for seven. I don't want to hold things up, so if Purp's ok with it, can he write me out for a bit of time?
OOC: It doesnt make much sense if I try and persuade him to talk to me if I dont include a Persuassion roll, and so I did. Your character can also attempt to communicate with the kid, I'll translate and you can offer tips, or even persuade the kid yourself. As long as we get him to talk without using my crowbar. =)
Closing the book he was busy reading and replacing it back in his pack, Tsurugi turns to the others who were busy looking around but doing nothing else of importance. "Well, should we really just be standing around in here with these dead bodies. Maybe some of us should go find a police station or something to report this. I don't know if we are still going to the dig site or not, I hope we are, but we will have to wait for the others to return anyways. So anybody up for doing something?"
Saheed walks up to the boy.
"This is Benji. My god, what has become of him?"
The boy rocking back and forth mutters a few word repetedly that you manage to pick up after a few repeats. He seems to ignor you with his eyes fixed on the wall.
"The messenger is comming. You can't stop him. He'll destroy this world. Destroy us. The messenger is comming. He has seen throgh my eyes. That horn. He hates us and mocks as we stumble through life with lust for more power. He give it to us and mocks how we use it. Always laughing. The messenger is already here!"
In amongst the many many eyes drawn all over the walls with that symbol in it, there is a message writen on the wall. It doesn't look like it's in Egyptian...more like Latin?!
That symbol is still uncogisable. You understand the eye surrounding the symbol to be a common cult drawing, but the image in the middle is nothing you have ever seen before.
Here it is again for everyone.
OOC: Also, there is only one person in the room. The boy rocking back and forth.
Samuel walks back to the front door, and finds the others inside attempting to talk to the young boy. Not able to understand Egyptian, he leaves it up to the others to interpret and translate. With nothing else to do yet, Sam takes out a sheet of vellum paper and draws out the symbol in the middle of the eye. He then removes an astronomy reference book from his satchel and lays the vellum over the stars looking for any patterns.
Astronomy 80
Roll 23
Lets see if the stars have anything to do with this symbol.
You recognise a sort of pattern in the shapes where he has lain out the different eyes. Jotting them down, you can line up the eyes with the stars above the Egyptian sky... though very barely. A lot are out of place and some are scribbled improperly. As if he barely remembers the map.
Travis frowned as the words came into focus and understanding. "The Messenger... the horn? What do those names mean?" he says with a puzzled tone. Letting Saheed take care of the boy, who mumbled the words even as his face was pressed into his shoulder, Travis holds his chin in thought. He searches his memory in an attempt to remember one of Dr, Spencers History lessons...

He manages to pull a thought out of his head, and comes to a slow realization.

Jack looks down at the people talking to the Boy. His eyes dart from person to person, judging their mental stability. (Psychology Roll: 91) He could not see their faces and they where speaking in another language. He could not judge them. He reaches into his pocket and grips his pistol; this situation put him at unease.
Travis was now standing away from the boy and scratching his chin.
"Some strange words... he was speaking of something, or someone, called The Messenger. He also mentioned some Horn, and how it seems to be connected... Well, I no longer doubt the work of some sort of cult..." Travis replied to Jack. Just then, the hairs on his neck pricked...
Dodge: 50
Roll: 24
You stole that quote striaght out of the Wizards mouth Rain, hurray for EVIL.
Benji got to his feet and lunged at Travis with sheer hatred in his eyes. With both hands thrust forward aiming at Travis his own bloodrage got the better of him. Travis darted to the side as Benji past by him collapsing to the floor.
OOC: Could the people in the room state their DEX.
