Sorry, I've been away for a few days...is the game dying or something? Because as far as I know I'm still in.

IC:

Max saw the guys who went to find Benji come back and immidiately get questioned by the police. When things calmed down he wandered over.
"So, did you find...what's his name...the kid who gave the stuff to Spencer?" He looked closely at the others' faces. "You guys look like you've seen a ghost or something. What happened?"

I too hope this doesn't die out entirely... so let's keep it going :)

Samuel got shuffled around the room, being questioned by police about every last detail from this morning till now. Seems the police don't think it's us who did the killing, he thought to himself. The only thing left for him to do now was wait and see who was still in to take the fateful boatride to the digsite.

Sorry for not posting things have been a little busy for me lately

Tsurugi followed after Travis towards the embassy. Things had been exciting ever since they had arrived here. Not exactly all good exciting but exciting none the less. He couldn't wait till they got to go to the dig site and if it seemed a little selfish at the moment he was too excited to notice. He enters the embassy and heads up to his room, plunking down on the bed when he arrives. He lays down and lets his head fall back as he thinks about what else was going to happen to them. He gets more excited as his eyes slowly close and he drifts off to sleep, snoring slightly.

Jack looked down at Max and answered "We went to Benji's house, he was... insane, killed his mother we think, than he tried to kill us. We took him to the asylum but... I don't think he'll ever be normal again. The strange thing was, there were the same symbol we found in the Doc's office all over the walls of his house and..."

He took a small piece of paper out of his pocket.

"I found this, it looks like it was written in Latin, do you know anyone that can read it?"

Ok, we can get this going if you guys really want to.

OOC; So is everyone going to bed in the game? Or does anyone have anything they want to discuss?

OOC: So far, only Tsurugui and I have went to the embassy. I'll wait for you guys to discuss if you want, but lets make it snappy. We want to get there soon enough, with plenty of people still around. =)

Tony's day had been soured by that business with the crazy child, and as such there was only one thing guaranteed to solve the problem - a drink or two of something alcoholic. Hopefully it would help him calm his nerves, as well. He had never struck a child before - even thieves had standards. Well, most thieves at any rate. As such, Tony sought out the nearest bottle of alcohol available in the embassy, planning on downing at least some of it before going to bed.

"What?" Max stared at Jack for a moment. "He did what? Killed his own mother?" He shook his head. "What the hell is going on here?" He pulled himself together and glanced at the paper Jack was holding. "I know there's someone here that can read Latin, but I don't remember who it is...sorry."

"Sorry, can't help with the latin myself," Samuel had overheard the conversation and felt a little bad for butting in, but thought it would be necessary to show the others what he had found. He pulled out the starcharts and started explaining to the others how they have found the symbols scattered across the city in what looks to be a pattern following a constellation.

Correct me if i'm wrong on that count purp, and i'll edit

OOC: The night, for Jack, is not over yet.

Jack stuffed the piece of paper back in his pocket. It seemed that no one could help him. A thought occurred to him to ask the doctor but that was soon replaced with sorrow.

He needed a drink.

Jack reached into his pocket for his flask and took a swig. It was only water. "To hell with this" he muttered under his breath, he needed something to calm his nerves.

He was about to ask Saheed if he knew about any good bars when Jack remembered the strange conversation he had heard earlier today. Maybe he could go check that place out.

Jack slipped out of the conversation the others were having and left the museum. He walked away in the night toward the Uptown Beat.

OOC:Anyone is welcome to follow me in my investigationing, but it might get grizzly.

[spoiler-The_Toe_Bighter]Sleep was unneasy for you. The abyss of sleep began to turn into a rage of nightmare. A creature, of what you can make out it to be, moreso of a void, began to draw closer towards you, slowly comming into view. It's a similar shape to that of a man but it's hard to see...[/spoiler]

Yeap, from what you can tell.

Jack looks behing him to see if anyone decided to follow. They didn't.

He walked a short while and soon was standing infront of the Buttoms Up.

He takes a long breath and walks inside.

The bar was already in full swing as people from all walks of life took up dancing and mixing it up here.
The shimmering tones of Jazz, played by the band, now in full swing, barely rise above the din of the miasma of panatelas. Behind the bar, stoked with Gin and beer, poker tables and slot machines that the patrons happliy play on. The bartender at the current looks busy but has enough time to clean the empty cups and chat to a few patrons. There is a door at the back of the bar and a staircase behind the band.

Jack walked over to the counter and sat on the last remaining stool. His dusty Trenchcoat felt out of place, no one noticed him though. Everyone was too busy enjoying themselves. He eventually made it through the crowd and took the last remaining stool. He ordered a Whisky and took a sip before being interupted by the barkeep.

"Haven't seen you in these parts before, where ya from?"

"I came from England for an exhebition out to Giza" he lied. "This is a fine bar" he added quickly, changing the subject, "Who owns it?"

"Mr Hickson," the barkeep said with a sight frown.

A woman, dressed in a short red dress like short curley blonde hair, walked up to the bar beside Jack and smiled at him.
"You gonna order a girl a drink?" she flirted.
