I have been both Keeper and player of this fantastic game ever since my college friends were kind enough to purchase the rulebook as a 19th birthday present. Are there any others among you who also tread the streets of Innsmouth, or plumb forgotten temples for relics that test the very fabric of nature?

I've played a few times. A visiting cousin ran a fantastic game for my normal group when he visited for Halloween one year. First time I was actually somewhat frightened during a tabletop game. Amazing.

No, haven't played it yet. I'd really love to, though. It's that mix of...well, Lovecraft and RPGs that really makes it so appealing to me, I'd say :p

The only table top RPG that I have played is Dungeons and Dragons. This seems a lot of fun.

I played CoC when it first released like ten plus years ago. Im not sure if the core rules have changed much but the thing i really enjoyed about it was that it was very RP heavy. It was difficult. Dice aren't enough to get you through your average adventure. The monster manual was filled with ruthless baddies. Always kept it interesting, always kept it dangerous. And of course Cthulus attack dmg is classic. 1d3 party members are killed every round lol. Good times.
