It'd only be in private matches, so it's no problem. Hardly enough to ruin something by giving it an extra option.

On a more serious note: it's an option that is not available in most of the playlists, and no one will ever have to face anyone in third person in a normal ranked playlist. It doesn't matter. More options = good.

OT: I don't see how it would rune ruin the game. Might be kind of a fresh take too. It's not a huge selling point or anything, but I'm optimistic and would like to check it out.

Actually... Third person plus Call of Duty? I don't know, this might possibly make me like 3rd-person games. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Yeah, it's pretty runed, although the spell-casting element would make the online more interesting...

Anyway, the Third-Person is an optional game-mode, if you don't want to use it, just go on the normal matches.

Not ruined at all. It sticks to its FPS roots by including that as the main playing option, and it's not like you are going to be playing with the 3rd-person players if you don't want to. Stop whining.

This exactly. Alot of games are introducing machinima options and there was a lot of CoD4 machinimas I've seen so it's most likely for that.

And it's for private matches. How does that affect the game at all?
