get a cup man what you just said is going to start a chainreaction of about 18 people kicking you in the balls im not a persons opinion is their opinion and hell i thought it was in fact i HATED cod4Ezzay said:The newest and best game (in my opinion) to the popular call of duty series has one thing any of its four predecessors did not. This one has Blood and Gore. Now personally i think that this addition not only makes the game a lot more fun to play, but it also helps draw me into the fight, when a grenade explodes at someone foot their leg should fly off, which in CoD:WaW, it does.
Now alongside the blood, came the bayonet, all i can say about this is that it is the single best weapon i have ever encountered in an FPS, second only to the Fat Man in Fallout 3. Whats not to enjoy about running through the Japanese trenches hearing nothing but squish sounds as you drive a knife into their spine.
I am interested in other gamers opinions on this new addition to the Call of Duty series.
Do you share my hopes that this will be carried on to the next CoD Games?
Edit: To hot to keep the helmet on, so i made an edit.
[rolling around laughing smiley should be here but the Escapist is too mature for that]ColdStorage said:I think the Escapists contingency is rather mature, I mean we get into meaningful discussions regarding the merits of Halo 3 all the time.
oh wait.
The worst part of any forum is that when you hate a popular game for valid reasons and the people there accuse you of trolling.lizards said:get a cup man what you just said is going to start a chainreaction of about 18 people kicking you in the balls im not a persons opinion is their opinion and hell i thought it was in fact i HATED cod4

I have to admit, I was really excited when I first noticed limbs missing and torsos flying across the screen. I still am, in fact. It really helped me get immersed in the experience.Ezzay said:The newest and best game (in my opinion) to the popular call of duty series has one thing any of its four predecessors did not. Thank the heavens that The Escapist is full of reasonable people who understand why I didn't enjoy Fallout 3 enough to even finish it.
I wish the whole world thought in this manner. Sadly...Wishes don't come true...lizards said:games just go back to personal taste i dont care if you dont like a game and i dont try to convince me friends to like a certain game
I didn't get a suit when I joined...and I had to buy a new helmet...ColdStorage said:I see you've given him Eggo's suit, he would like it to go to a good cause.Ryuzix said:Tell me I'm dreaming.Ezzay said:The newest and best game in the popular call of duty series has one thing any of its four predecessors did not.
Welcome to the escapist, here is your flame retardant suit, your bulletproof vest and your helmet...which still has the remains of the last person who used it...
I liked the saw series...Mercanary57 said:go watch the SAW series while messing around with your controller. Pretend your having fun.
I did enjoy co-op, although its a pretty easy game to begin with, it isn't really needed to progress, it was fun though.Onyx Oblivion said:Also, Treyarch is smarter than Infinity Ward for actually giving the fans co-op. Not necessarily better, just smarter. On the contrary, I am sick of modern era shooters. I'm sick of killing terrorists!
EDIT: Gore doesn't matter to me at all.
Oh...but I can deny that...Some of the most atmospheric games I've ever played had minimal gore. Fable 2, Oblivion, Morrowind, Vegas 2 (I talked to the squadmates who you ordered around!)Ezzay said:I did enjoy co-op, although its a pretty easy game to begin with, it isn't really needed to progress, it was fun though.Onyx Oblivion said:Also, Treyarch is smarter than Infinity Ward for actually giving the fans co-op. Gore might not matter but it does add atmosphere to the game. You cant deny that.
