I recently got COD:WW beta demo in my hands, I'm big fan of COD franchise so I decide to have a go before pre-ordering. The only conclusion I have from that demo (except it's demo and all possible conclusions regarding demo verions of anything) is that game developers just insulted me as a nobel video games player. This game is an insult. It looks like World War II mod for Call of Duty 4 instead of actuall stand alone game (Making Red Orchestra for Unreal Turnament probably took more time and effort that making ?this?). Multiplayer gameply is almost the same if not the SAME: you have the same perks, you can create custom class: select perks, weapons, granades. Game engine is the same (no issue here COD4 engine is sweet).

COD4 is a great game, its MP was something new and fresh. Actually first modern FPS worth buying, since don't know when (not to mention RS:Vegas - but there is kind of different game structure). Now they are going all the way back. Many people are buying games for MP only other doesn?t bother with it and are only interested in Single Player gameplay. When I first time played COD4 (was in the game shop in the day of the release just after work, which I never do if it comes to video games), couldn't wait to see SP Campaign. With COD:WW it doesn't bother me at all. Yet another WWII game with the nicest graphics and the enemy is shouting with Japanese accent instead of Russian, Arabic.

Yet another time video game industry didn't impress me at all. Lack of impression wouldn't be a problem but there is disappointment feeling lurking just behind the corner.
There are probably thousands of players going isomaniac waiting for that game: "This is going to be the best WWII video game ever" - they are saying, saving there allowance, but I?m not among them.

My experience is coming form beta multiplayer demo, and as it says on the beginning it's, only beta demo and lots of things are going to change in full version, but how much it will change? Will it be enough to flush the taste after that "bitter pill"? I'm afraid not, at least no in my case.

In my opinion MP in CoD4 was the "biggy". Multiplayer really and life like single player made that game worth every penny.

In context of COD:WW, at least multiplayer, is going to be lastthing which bring me to spending my money on this title. I can't argue with single player or co-op mode as I haven't got a chance to play it. Ignoring fact that is another title about WWII, I'm sure single player campaign will provide couple hours of quality entertainment. Also co-op gameplay option is another reason to, but like in place of "Kane & Lynch", rent it rather than buy it.
