Call of Duty: World at War - I cannot bring myself to call it 'Nerd's Eye View'

I have played Medal of Honour, you know.

Anybody else think of Frank from Dead Rising when they saw this sentence?

I sure as hell wasn't thinking of him when I wrote it.

Oddly, I can't remember much of what Frank said in the game. Admittedly, I only played up until the first night. Then I got bored.

I find COD5 very nice. It expands into campaigns that I have NOT played before and is quite unique even against its oh so tempting to use as a game WWII background. Multiplayer is phenomenal including nazi zombies and I cannot stand those who keep complaining about it.Yes, we know the guns suck, no we dont care. COD4 was just another modern shooter just like the free ones i can dwnload on the internet or get for like what, 20 bucks? SO STOP TELLING ME YOU DON'T LIKE COD5... you just suck.

I guess that you have never ever played a WWII game (and just to mention, he did say something about that.) Woah, next claim, UNIQUE! Did you not see CoD 1,2,3 and 2's expansion? Multiplayer is qiet good you're right, but CoD4's was still better, because 4 was UNIQUE, which I'm coming onto now.

freakonnaisance, tell me one of these games that I can download off the internet that are like CoD4 and tell me one that I can buy for £20, which may I remind you is less than what I can buy W@W for.

Now, I'm sorry for that, but I needed to get that off my chest, and yes, a few nice pics would be nice. Just a little bit of Wall of Text syndrome.

Wow, your reasoning is so blindingly perfect we all must obey you. Its not that the guns suck, its that they are horribly imbalanced. The STG 44, MP 40, Thompson and the PPsh are all horrendously overpowered and break the game's multiplayer. That, coupled with the tanks that take over 5 Rockets/5 Satchel Charges/5 Grenade Launcher shots/5 Tank Grenades to kill proceed to make the game nothing but a horrible pile of excrement. CoD 4 had balanced weapons, amazing maps, and had more than a shred of originality to it regarding the campaign.

CoD 5 utilities the same engine as CoD 4, blatantly rips off content from its predecessor and other sources, has a horrible campaign (especially on Veteran) and comes packed with a broken multiplayer. Oh look, Zombies - I guess everything is alright now.

On topic, the review was a wall of text, needs pictures, but you did cover the subject matter effectively and thoroughly. Keep it up.

Veteran difficulty makes me cry.
