i can play smells like teen spirit(including (extremely easy) solo), jerk off by tool(including(extremely easy)solo), fade to black(not solo) welcome home(sanitarium) (intro, verse, beginning of first solo). peace sells(verse, chorus) symphony of destruction(verse, chorus), a few black sabbath songs(not the solos), as well as a few songs by slipknot and disturbed. i want some rock and metal songs that are fun to play, and that can help me finish the fragments of songs that i know. thanks

for some reason i could play the intro for that instantly(i have the tab book)
and of course i know alot more than just those, lol

If you want to play lead then my two favourite easy solos are Bohimian Rhapsidy by Queen and Californication By RHCP

Other than that just play songs you enjoy and make sure you have your theory and technque up to a good standard. Bothe the solos above involve hammer ons pull offs and bends, dount underestimate the value of practising the simple techneques. I gig all the time with my band Paradox and when i first started i was strugeling to paly the solos in the songs because they where at the edge of my ability, now i have practised and practised the basics, things like hammering on and pulling off runs up basic scales and bending to a spesific pitch. To play a song smoothly and well you need to be better than the song if that makes any sense.

If you cant find any good tabbs for those solos mesage me and ill transcribe them for you. You should be able to find one at Ultimate guitar though.

Ill have a think and get back to you with some more songs that fit your music taste

Like the guy above said, practice the techniques you're struggling with. If you have tabs for the songs you listed, just play the bits you can't do over and over again, slow them down if you need to. That'd be the biggest help to finish them. For some riffs that are fun to play but will make you learn a few things, I'd suggest anything off Vulgar Display of Power by Pantera. Resign yourself to the fact you won't master the solos for a long time and just enjoy playing the parts you can do, time is the single biggest improving factor in playing any instrument.

for the solos its the lack of ability, but i just put a link in my original post, and thats about the hardest thing i can play(only the intro)

The lovly people at vevo have desided i cant watch that video, Spotify it is.

The key to plating guitar well is to practice the right things (scales, techneques ect) a small amout every day then bring it togeter. Just focus on a small bit of a song or one teckneque at a time.

Its a cliche but practice makes perfect.
