A two-weapon limit causes you to be more resourceful and thoughtful in your gameplay decisions.
We can argue over the pros and cons of regenerative health versus health packs until we're blue in the face. Seriously guys, I thought we were over this. Regenerating health causes you to need to be more cautious in your approach of every room while health packs let you take way more damage. Regenerating health just means you don't have to go fishing for health packs. If regenerating health is so casual, why don't all of you have all of the Legendary achievements on every installment of Halo?
AM I REALLY HEARING GAMERS COMPLAIN ABOUT PUZZLES? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
These things are minor characteristics of a game, as you should all know by now, or else Halo and Call of Duty may as well be considered the same game. Duke Nukem is going to be awesome for all the reasons Duke Nukem has always been awesome. Its skeleton is your generic shooter, but the real meat and tits of the game is going to be its hilariously over-the-top camp and goofiness. I doubt most of you are even old enough to have played Duke Nukem 3D before it hit the XBLA with the way you're arguing over this.
i think many of us were expecting an old fashioned fps game, a game that had the features of the old games, having all the guns ,healthpacks which do influenciate the game, yes i agree that they can make the game easier but can easly make it much harder if they aren't many and you are not careful.
"we" wanted a oldschool game with the sound, graphic and story quality that is available today.
im still intrigued why puzzles made it bad, Half Life had it and let me tell you it helped the game to take a break from the series of gun fights.
...just my opinion but letting this game 12 years in teh oven really affected it, specially if you kept switching it from oven to oven
