I love calvin and hobbes, I was born a year before it was ended, even so I still read all of the books to this day. but when it ended, it made a lot of people sad, and even though Bill Watterson made it clear that it's not coming back from the dead, did it change you at all when it was still in the news papers? I can't say because I was born a year before it was discontinued.

Eh...? Would you like to add a little more reason as to why you like the comic and why it's better than the rest? At least a little discussion?

OT(ish): I never cared much for comics but Calvin and Hobbes was always one of the more humorous ones.

Calvin & Hobbes was great - funny, intelligent, imaginative, and great artwork. A shame it's no longer in publication - at least I have my books.

yeah, mainly due to the fact that when I was six, calvin was me; hair, eyes, attitude, everything. I fell in love with the strip because I could relate to it and it was so familiar at the time. And when I found out that the strip was discontinued after I was born, I felt quite sad because I missed out on something I loved, or thats how I thought it was, until I got the "Sunday pages" book not the large one but the smaller one.

I think Calvin and Hobbes was a great comic because the humour was funny on more than one level. A kid could see Calvin taking a sled/wagon ride with a crash at the end and laugh, because he's getting hurt. A mature adult could read all the allegory he had about downplaying people's complaints with the "crash" at the end symbolizing how pointless it all was.

I think it's completely genius.

Calvin and Hobbes was amazing. I was crushed when I found out it had ended a month after I as born. But seriously, it had a T-rex in a fighter jet. There is no comic that has something that awesome.

I'm glad someone else caught all the depth in the comic. :3

Never read it. I was always partial to Bloom County... until that whole Donald Trump saga.

Really? I thought Bill Watterson was against merchandising the series to anything like T-shirts, how'd you get it?

You can get anything Calvin and Hobbes related.

Not a dime goes to ol' Bill, but you can get anything.
