Heh, well that makes one of us--I'm terrible at rejecting throws. It's probably because of the lag online, but I can only reject the most obvious of the obvious, although Lambda has a pretty nasty reset if you Throw Reject her.

The story mode in CT basically makes you win every fight with a Distortion Drive, then win every fight normally, then choose every available option when given a choice, and then lose to everyone you fight against in order to 100% it. Sometimes you even have to win a fight, lose the next, and finish the following with a DD in order to get a proper story path. It's pretty obscure, and they changed it for CS so that you only need to win every fight to get the good ending, and lose a certain fight or choose a different option in order to get the bad ending. No more of that 'lose every fight to 100%'.

And Noel keeps her Silencer attack--it actually gave her a sick loop in the original CS and was one of the reasons why she was so damn good in CS (among other reasons). I'm not sure if she can still do the loop in CS:EX, but I know her damage is a bit lower.

Oh yeah! Before I forget: in Continuum Shift, they changed the Burst and guard mechanics--you don't need to worry about the Guard Libra anymore. Each character instead has a set number of guard primers that break when they take certain hits. Lose them all, and you're guard broken. However, they regenerate when you go on the offensive.

As for Bursts, you now can do two bursts per game, but you need to lose a round in order to use the second. And there are also two types of bursts: Gold and Green. Green Bursts are your standard 'get out of jail free' card to use when you're getting comboed. But Gold Bursts act as combo extenders or quick reversals due to its ridiculous i-frames. When used in the middle of a combo, Gold Bursts will actually reduce the damage peroration and keep your damage up. When used as a reversal, however, if drastically increases damage peroration, and your damage plummets at the cost of a (hopefully) free combo.
