Right, so I want to find a good multiplayer RPG type game, that me and my girlfriend can play together (so co-op play and not pvp).

Heres the issue though, I use a PC and she uses a MAC so it'll have to be a trans-platform hybrid/freak of nature...

So I ask you my fellow escapees (not so sure about that one...), what game should we play?

Oh and I think I should add that my PC isn't the best machine in the world, so no graphic heavy stuff please. ^^

jeez, even *finding* a MAC game you can both play is going to be a challenge, I think the only chance you have is Portal 2

have you tried delving into the ocean of Korean MMORPG,s? they tend to be free to play with a optional cash shop.

You'll want to run bootcamp or something similar.

If that's out of the question.. I don't know. I really don't. World of Warcraft?

Doesn't Diablo 2 have multiplayer? I dunno.

What I do know is the Dungeon Siege games DO. And they are pretty fun at that. First one came out in 2002, so don't worry about graphics.

I haven't played it myself, so I could be wrong on this: Doesn't Torchlight have co-op?

I know that game is on Mac and Windows, as I almost bought it (my computer is a Macbook Pro).

Diablo 2 or World of Warcraft would probably be your best bet. I play WoW frequently on this Macbook Pro, as well as quite a few Steam games. If you can find something there, then by all means. WoW doesn't have to be played PvP-wise, and you two could possibly have a lot of fun questing and leveling together.

I know I have a great deal of fun with the game.

[small]Damn, I love Blizzard.[/small]

Yeah, Diablo 2 has multiplayer.

It should be noted that the first Dungeon Siege runs into a minor issue, though, since it doesn't run on Windows Vista. At all. Though, as long as one does not have Vista it should be good to go.

Gods, how I wish I didn't have Vista... but hey, at least I still have Dungeon Siege 2 to play... *sigh*

Runs fine on Windows 7, and there's no reason to still be running shitty vista.

Sadly no, torchlight doesn't have multiplayer... It needs it badly though...

I checked. It's the sequel that will have co-op. The release date for Torchlight 2 just says "2011", though. That probably means its coming in the fall at the earliest.

Borderlands if it is trans-system. Mostly shooter, some RPG elements.
Diablo II if you can find a copy and don't mind older graphics.
