Can anyone recomend good third-party PS3 controller?

I have both a 360 and PS3 but when multiplatform games(especially shooters) are released, I usually end up going for the 360 version not necessarily because I think the xbox version is superior, but because I can't stand the PS3 analog sticks.

They feel to loose and imprecise(as far as controllers go) compared to my 360 analog sticks. Or I guess something with more resistance with the analog sticks

So does anyone have any recommendations? I want to get more use out of my PS3.

Basically no, I just love the Dualshock 3. Also I've never found the sticks to be loose on any of my Sony controllers, right back to the first Dualshock 1 I had.

There is a bit less resistance in them than the 360, but they're definitely not loose, or imprecise.

But it's down to opinion I guess.

I guess I mean if there is anything with more resistance.

If you want my opinion, don't bother if you prefer the 360 controller. If you have the coin, look up the Razer Onza and the XCM Crossfire. I'd copy/paste the link, but my laptop's off for repairs, so I'm on PS3 Web browser.

Search around the vids from that time-frame and you might find something for the Crossfire, which allows cross-platform controller usage. I also wouldn't worry about stick resistance with the Onza, or running out of buttons *Wink*. Also, hope you don't mind a wired controller, though the cord DOES look very long, not to mention the Crossfire's added length. Don't know of any PS3 controllers that might fit your needs, except maybe the Nyko Raven with the 360 stick/D-Pad layout. Stick resistance? No idea. Hope this helped. Peace.
